Or even yesterday?? Why now? Have they got the DNA off the gloves? Has the maintenance workers etc DNA samples come back?
If he double gloved with disposables there probably isn't any DNA on them, sadly.

That we haven’t had a description of the perp’s vehicle yet is one of the strangest things about this investigation so far.

I know that neighbours’ cameras wouldn’t get usable images from the road in an area without streetlights, because the houses are set back from the road and, in low light, you’d get nothing usable. But why no images from nearby cameras on larger roads? I can’t imagine too much traffic at 1-2 am.

Does it mean NG wasn’t taken far from her house?

The problem seems to be linking the larger common roads (w/ more random traffic) that have cams to any vehicle from the crime scene which is a "blind spot" (a neighborhood w/o traffic lights, dark, houses spaced out/set back no traffic cams).

One other point an ex FBI agent who was commentating on scene was that the neighborhood is like a maze, multiple entry and exit points that lead to other roads. So hard to guesstimate a truck or van when you have a "blind spot" at the original location and lots of exit/connecting road possibilities. It seems they do not have a car linked. Having a long driveway/set back from road myself and a systems of cctv and wifi cams, if someone parks down the driveway or on the road there will be no footage (same for my neighbors who are spaced out, lots of woods in between). So IMO they're looking for suspicious vehicles that fit the bill and "reverse engineering" any appearances on neighborhood footage and bigger roads that lead there within that time frame.

The property and neighborhood set-up and darkness def. make this harder for investigators (and was likely. an opportunistic consideration by the criminal including any knowledge that an elderly woman lived there alone). Probably why he seemed relaxed.

How are you supposed to remove a pacemaker that easily? I thought it was under the skin. Are you suggesting the perp has surgical knowledge?
Don’t need it if she’s dead.

AC runs in AZ even in the winter?
SBMFF

I am an AZ native, & we have had our A/C running these last couple of weeks as it’s been in the 80s outside already.

I have a friend who just turned 73 years-old yesterday (also here in AZ), and she keeps her house at 76-77 degrees summer or winter.

I would expect this depends a great deal upon the person & his/her preferences

If she wore hearing aides and did not have them in at night, perhaps she would not hear the AC shutting off. My mom wears them (not at night) and no way would ,she hear the AC was not running. I tease her that a marching band could come through and she'd be oblivious.
It is often cold at night in Tucson in January/early February and warm during the day. While it's a personal preference, of course, it seems that she might have the heat on at night and the A/C on during the day. MO

The lantana thing is intriguing. Was it to block the camera? Was he having trouble pulling the camera and he knew that sticky lantana would help his grip? Was he afraid the Nest housing would cut his glove and he wanted to put something between the glove and the Nest? Why did he think the lantana was a good idea, and why was he not more prepared? I am of the opinion that he was trying to hide himself as he first approached the door, so why did he allow himself to be captured on it?

I know. Neither one is the ozark trail backpack and the jacket isn’t the same either…
I originally thought the man on the Ring camera in the neighborhood DID NOT look like the perp from the video, but to be honest upon taking a closer look and with the renewed timing explanation "from" TMZ, I'm not so sure and I think it doesn't have to be the SAME person. MOO

The backpack that the man lifts up is hard to see, but to me there's nothing that explicitly shows that it's NOT the Ozark Trails backpack in the NG Nest video. Unless you can see otherwise?
I also think there's a possibility that this man isn't the one on NG's Nest video but perhaps was an accomplice in with 1+ others (as the FBI has said they are looking into multiple people being involved).
Maybe he gave or took the backpack to/from the person we see in the NG Nest video (who in one of them DOES NOT have the backpack on - it's unclear to me whether that's before or after the other footage and I don't think specific timing of each was released, but let me know if I'm wrong).

Sorry I'm working as well so haven't screenshotted everything but if someone wants to I think that would be helpful to determine either way, or I can look later!
For those curious about route/timing, if you look back two posts of mine I have a screenshot of the route from the Ring camera footage to NG's (and the TMZ article).

I don’t think Nancy ever made it home, I think they removed her pacemaker and disposed of it. Got rid of her, dropped some spots of blood on her porch then staged the fake kidnapping.
??? THAT would have been VERY bloody. JMO

Is this a troll or should LE take this seriously. Thoughts?

I would suspect it is probably a troll, but if I am Savannah, 1 bitcoin would be like a drop in the bucket. I would pay on the off chance it may be legit (as small a % of a chance that may be). MOO

There is more than drops, there is aspirated blood, I dont see a way to fake that.

The pulse generator is just under the skin on the left side of the chest just beneath the collar bone. It's easily visible. Not that I think anyone removed it, but it wouldn't be difficult. IMO

Doesn't mean it isn't possible, that rucksack had something in it and may have dripped a trail

Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code is so strict—requiring specific shielding angles and total lumen caps—that many residents find it easier to just leave the lights off rather than risk a fine. Likely, the only people you will encounter outside after dark are criminals! Government restrictions seem too rigid there. I am sure it's not imperative the stargazers get to stargaze EVERY night. A better idea might be to give them a few days a week of dark skies instead of 24x7.

Outdoor lighting codes are not just about "star gazing" - light pollution has important implications for human, animal and plant health.

"If you have hearing loss in only one ear and normal or nearly normal hearing in the other, then one hearing aid is all you need. But most people have hearing loss in both ears, especially if the loss is age-related."

Perhaps it depends where in the world you live, I know and worked with deaf people, children to adult and only one person has two because shes deaf in both ears, so both can be true

Like some of you, my mind is beginning to wander from my initial hunch. I watch too much Dateline. I am now sadly, wondering about other possibilities, like if either AG or TC 'joked' about doing something to her and wasn't serious, and other one took action to help, or one joked but was actually serious? Or, did either one have a lover, that did something to NG to 'help' them, or was NG causing this person grief because they wanted more time with AG and NG was taking too much time away? Were AG/TC having marital issues? Ugh. This needs to be solved and NG needs to be found so the family can be cleared, and have closure to grieve. Either someone wanted her to disappear or this was random. I have little hope NG will be ok.

No

That's what I think too. Until there’s verification she physically entered her house, I think it’s fair to question the timeline. There’s been no footage shown of her arrival or departure from Annie’s. If that confirmation exists, why not release something to put these questions to rest?

Honestly, it looks like someone high or that has an intellectual disability. The gun is being worn so weirdly that all he needs is to also be carrying Big Gulp.
