no proof of life but they provided some "insider info" about NG's room (like the location of her Apple watch) that only someone who was in that room would know.

Why January 11th in particular? Very oddly specific ...
Maybe there is some recovered video showing people of interest on the 11th. Casing? Trial run?

I didn’t say anything about removing her pacemaker or tracking it. I was questioning the timeline and lack of publicly released information that she entered the house.
Sorry, I'm an idiot sometimes.

The backpack could be mass-produced and sold under numerous brand names. But if the Ozark Trail logo is on there, it’s exclusively sold at Wal-Mart which narrows down where the perp attained it. Wal-Mart in-store, online, possibly Amazon, or second hand.

I research wardrobe for movies & tv as part of my job. I haven’t researched these photos yet. They creep me out, plus there’s lots of researchers better at it than me. I’m sure they’ve figured it out. It may take awhile to track down the buyers of the backpacks, but it’s a shot.
It could have been pulled out of a lost and found bin at a school or gym, or bought on eBay, Poshmark, Amazon, at a garage sale, a flea market, STOLEN, owned for 10 years... IMO the possibilities are endless.
That said, LE should be looking into nearby places where it could have been bought, especially if they really have very little to go on...

In my neighborhood he would have been posted to the community on FB “Does anyone know this guy that’s trespassing on my property at date/time”
Yes!!! Does anyone know if there is a neighborhood Facebook group for the area?

You may want to remove this as it has been found inaccurate and not put out by LE.
Thanks I deleted it. I thought it was a more recent legitimate one.

I wonder if the kidnappers originally thought they would be directly negotiating with the family. Now with the media circus this has become, I won't be surprised if the kidnappers end up abandoning NG and walking away, knowing they are not getting any ransom. If NG is not found very soon after they abandon her, she may not make it.
I dunno how they possibly could've thought it would go quietly. Granted I don't think I had a clue who savannah was before (British so only know a few daytime TV names really, savannah isn't a stand out name anyway, says to me she's decent) granted I might've read about her but the names gone over my head.

If the location of the smartwatch was habitual and if the floodlight was damaged days prior to the abduction, there also are 4) people who work at the house.

And anyone to whom any of the four categories of people could've leaked the info.

JMO
True, though less likely especially considering the watch was somewhere most people would not keep one. MOO

is 5+ miles away considered the same neighborhood?
The alert was sent out to all users of the Neighbors App within a two-mile radius of Nancy’s home in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood north of Tucson, Arizona.

You have the neighborhood right? If you flick back through my posts, I believe it's somewhere between 1st Mountain Avenue and Sugar Hill neighborhoods.

Would also encourage people asking about location/distance/timing/sources to go back and read previous pages as we have touched on the Ring camera footage of the man with two backpacks already today :)

And theoretically if this location is correct, and this tabloid has that info, it stands to reason others may as well, which makes the note that much less credible imo.
If the crime scene evidence list and pictures were leaked, it wouldn't take a lot of brains to realize it was worth a lot of money in terms of a secondary crime.

They’ve also offered a $50k reward. One bitcoin is roughly $67k. They aren’t going to do the right thing over $17k?! Honestly, tell what you know and then get a reward, period. If they start giving money to any random person, who claims they know something about a case, it will set a huge precedent for the future.

Also, I’m somewhat surprised that the family hasn’t added to the reward. It’s only at $50k. You would think they would, but that’s just my two cents.
I think the latest two notes may be the real perps last ditch effort to get paid? Or, just a farce.

I don't think this is about a ransom anymore. I don't know if it ever was. With Savannah's salary and the family openly saying they were willing to pay, if this were truly about a ransom, Nancy would have been returned and back safe at home a week ago. Just feels like chasing ghosts at this point.

I can't even imagine what it must look like behind the scenes with family and LE and ransom vs no ransom. A nightmare to be sure.

My understanding is that Levin contacted the FBI, who (Levin felt) were interested in the original note because of what it said about the location of the watch. I don’t think LE ever confirmed the real location, which would have been known to the family and investigators. It could have leaked, of course.

What the tabloid has here is information from the original note. I don’t know whether the note is genuine but I don’t think this article and what it reveals reduces its credibility.

From your article:
[...]
In a subsequent alert, authorities requested all footage from vehicles, people, and houses taken between Jan. 1 and Feb. 2, the day after Nancy was announced missing.
