I jumped the gun. You are correct. It says gloves were found in the home. The article was posted today. But it does not day the gloves were found today. Maybe it’s a major error and these are still the ditch gloves?

Residents who live near Nancy Guthrie’s home in Tucson are being asked to check security footage from two specific days in January.

So I just did a google explore search. I did custom dates from 1/1/25 until 1/30/26. The only time her home was searched for was on January 18th, and it was searched 29 times. I am hoping that they were able to find out from where and maybe that is pushing the dates.

If you watch the video of perp walking to front door, he comes from the side of the house, not from the street.

In regards to cutting power to home. I noticed when moving to Az some 20 years ago all circuit breakers are on outside of home which I personally had never seen until moving here. I put a lock on my cover of circuit box because did not like the idea of someone being able to turn off my power that easily but almost all are not locked. I recall a local news station talking about kids pulling pranks a few years back turning off peoples power in the evening while they were home. I bet Nancy's was on the outside too.

I wonder if the kidnappers originally thought they would be directly negotiating with the family. Now with the media circus this has become, I won't be surprised if the kidnappers end up abandoning NG and walking away, knowing they are not getting any ransom. If NG is not found very soon after they abandon her, she may not make it.

MOO - could be the gloves were somewhere innocuous in Nancy's house (like, with the gardening tools and other work gloves) and LE didn't know they weren't Nancy's until they recovered the video of the suspect wearing gloves? ETA: and now, they're doing DNA testing just to confirm whether they belonged to Nancy or not. Again, MOO all speculation

TMZ founder Harvey Levin (who saw the note) said it provided the location of the Apple Watch and that it mentioned the “destroyed” floodlights at the rear of the house. It was during his interview with Chris Cuomo on NewsNation. But this is the first time I’ve seen the location of the watch revealed. I don’t know NewsMax, either.

And theoretically if this location is correct, and this tabloid has that info, it stands to reason others may as well, which makes the note that much less credible imo.

All this leads to the following - my app has a "FIND MY" feature. Note: I've removed all identifying information.

Before I tried this experiment I had my hearing aids OUT and hadn't opened the actual app for a few days. It still showed that the last place both hearing aids were known to be was inside this house on February 9. I think you can see where I'm going with this. It's an obscure/thought idea and it would depend on a lot of things, but if there is ONE hearing aid on her body, it might provide a clue to where she was at some point.


I'm editing to add what they look like when they are disconnected (not in my ears). The app still seems to know where they are. Of note: they are fully charged so I don't know what happens if one or both would be no longer charged.

This is SO COOL, I had no idea it existed. The folks next door are 84 and 87, they're my replacement grandparents essentially, he's always losing his hearing aid. I'm researching this and sorting this out in the morning for him. The best thing, they have a smart phone but can only do contacts/phone so it'll be my phone the apps on.

I think the FBI isn't publicly confirming because even though the likelihood of AG/SIL being involved is slim, it's not impossible. They don't want to say the family is cleared, because they aren't. It doesn't mean they're guilty, just that until an arrest is made, everything is still on the table. I would assume in any investigation, suspects move up and down the list based on information coming in.

The backpack could be mass-produced and sold under numerous brand names. But if the Ozark Trail logo is on there, it’s exclusively sold at Wal-Mart which narrows down where the perp attained it. Wal-Mart in-store, online, possibly Amazon, or second hand.

I research wardrobe for movies & tv as part of my job. I haven’t researched these photos yet. They creep me out, plus there’s lots of researchers better at it than me. I’m sure they’ve figured it out. It may take awhile to track down the buyers of the backpacks, but it’s a shot.
