I don't think it would be odd that someone made a mistake and left something (to your point).Think of Kohburger leaving his sheath.
Has LE said that's the holster?Holster is another Walmart special.

Last I checked, Tucson Walmarts still had it in stock.
Agree. Kohberger thought of everything, but forgot knife sleeve. With DNA! So amazing! If the glove inside the house is from the perpetrator, it seems like something they would know they’d left behind and risk going back for. Then again, I always thought that about Kohberger and the knife sheath too so….
Moo
If I were hearing all of this and I were the family... I would hire private investigators. So the Sheriff gets to make these decisions? If it happened prior to the FBI’s involvement, or there is other evidence already at the FL lab that might be comparative, an argument might be made for using it. I need more information. I would think that the FBI and this case where the director personally showed up would have been able to put this at the top of the pile. If a decision was made with both agencies on board, okay. If this is a pi**ing contest between the FBI and the local Sheriff, that stinks.
Last night I went through band videos to see if I could see the tattoo; dark stages -- and difficult to see. I'll keep looking..Why not? He is of similar height and build, the ski mask meets the collar so its impossible to see a beard or lack of one. There is clearly some facial hair around the mouth area and its a Caucasian or light-skinned male. Not to mention the possible tattoo on the right wrist is similar to one that is being discussed on other sites as belonging to the SIL.

Thank you! On my mobile and couldn’t figure out how to post a link.
That is the first plausible motive for an assault / abduction / homicide I've heard. Abducting a senior to extort funds makes no sense when defrauding seniors with phone scams garners $5 billion per year.Maybe NG has, unknown to family, been paying/giving $$$ to someone, as a loan. Maybe she wanted payment, and the person decided to remove her.
Has the holster been identified by LE like the backpack? If so I missed it.
Not that I’ve seen. Just using my eyeballs and awareness of lantana man’s Walmart proclivities.Has LE said that's the holster?
Great... so pitch black at night, no traffic cameras... no wonder LE appears to be fumbling.
Illegal. Zip arrest. No money. No one could be dumb enough to take reward if they were illegal.I figured maybe they are illegal but want to remain in US, hence not taking official route. That's if they even know...
I agree - I think that is why they are leaking grievances and finger-pointing to the press.it is not a good sign that they feel secure at where they are and what they know in the investigation. It lends itself to what I perceive from a distance which is they appear to be lost. And doing this imo reflects just as poorly on them..JMOI think it is a sign perhaps that the investigation has stalled and they have nothing? Or they are beginning to realize they have screwed up and wasted a great deal of time doing nothing productive?
I doubt your psych ED friend saw patients rip out permanent pacemakers that are surgically implantedI have a friend who works psych ED and she has had two patients tear their pacemaker out. She said it wasn’t as bloody as she expected, but it’s still a mess. One guy walked up and handed it to her. I don’t think that’s what happened to NG, but it’s not impossible.
From NBC: "Gloves found at Guthrie's house are being sent out for testing, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a statement this afternoon. The department said "several items of evidence" were found at the residence, but provided no details beyond the gloves. The news comes after multiple reports that a nylon glove was found at the home."Sorry, I'm trying to catch up and find the article where it says a glove was found inside the home as some have said on here. Can anyone direct me please? This is really surprising to me if it wasn't found when her house was processed the first time
Don't let them fool you.....there are FLOCK cameras all over town. Just google them if you don't know about them. Map and more info here: Deflock TucsonDoes anyone know if it's common for these cameras to not record? I assumed they'd at least keep a small amount of recording, but I really have no idea. Surprising to me that so many of these don't record at all. JMO.
