Do you know roughly how far? Google is giving me conflicting info

Even if they’re not super close, could still be worth it for the homeowner to send in. There really does appear to be a resemblance, as much as we’re able to tell from not super high quality videos at night and one with a mask

moo
About 7 miles, a 20 min drive.

(I'm sorry if this already has been posted)

Look at this neighbour ring video, the man fits the description very well!

He walks the same, bends over the same and has the eyes and facial hair exactly like in the Nancy cctv vid!! - IMO

I think it’s SIL. The outline around the eyes on the mask is covering the top portion of the eyebrows. But you can see that the brows are nearly a unibrow. You can also see the shape of the head is very similar. The eyes are spaced apart the same. And the gray beard hairs are sticking out of the mask, indicating this is a long, full beard. You can also see the wrinkles under the eye indicating this is not a young man.

A lot being said about the possible 'bite light' in lantana mans mouth and so I wanted to post up a run down of the most likely people to have such a light handy.

Common user profiles include:
Pilots (especially general aviation and night flyers) — They use models like the Flight Gear Bite Light with white light for pre/post-flight checks and red light to preserve night vision in the cockpit.

Theater technicians, lighting crew, stagehands, and wardrobe personnel — In tech theater and backstage work, bite lights (often called "bitelites") are popular for climbing ladders, focusing lights, quick changes in dark wings, or when carrying gear.
Mechanics, auto technicians, or anyone working under vehicles/dashboards — Hands are occupied with tools, so mouth-held light helps see tight spaces.

Performers or quick-change artists (sometimes in drag, costume, or low-light creative work) — Soft, teeth-friendly versions exist for hands-free illumination during fast changes or detailed work.

Jewellers and Crafting Hobbyists — Anyone who works regularly with crafts that require both hands to be free during intricate work.

DIYers, electricians, plumbers, or home repair folks — Anyone who's ever held a regular flashlight in their mouth under a sink or in an attic ends up appreciating a purpose-built bite version.

Outdoor/night workers — Like some night fishing setups (though "bite light" there more often means bite indicators/alarms), or cavers/explorers who prefer mouth-held options over headlamps in tight spots.
And thieves

Great write up thanks

Not sure this has been mentioned before, but if the person involved carried a phone and it was switched on then it would have made periodically "pings" with the nearest 'cell tower'.

Yes. But the phone needs to be on. Often they're smart enough to turn it off.

The thing is that those features aren't 'unique'. If you took the male population of Tucson, Arizona, then there will no doubt be other males who share the same physical characteristics .

Here’s the Reuters report. Prepare to be enraged:

Sorry if this has been asked but can the fbi pull rank to gain jurisdiction over the investigation? Or can a senior official like a minister of defence order the sheriffs office to step down so the fbi with more resources can take over the investigation?

Honest questions as I don't live in America

I'm just checking in and apologize if this has been discussed previously.
There are screenshots on the original post that I can't add or bring over using my phone.

Has anyone heard anything else about this individual?
At first I thought he was rummaging around in something on the porch. But he actually bends over and backs up to the camera in an attempt to hide his face.

Is this a jacket, sheet or blanket in his hands? It could be used to throw over someone's head to gain an advantage over them?

And finally is there a bag or bookbag in a chair to the right of the frame?
I took screenshots from the January 23rd doorbell cam in Tucson that was linked to a few posts ago. Who knows if it’s related, but the guy really could match the NG abductor images quite well. I hope he’s being ruled in or out.

I 'caveated' the post with 'if'. Also, it seems that the 'person' isn't skilled i.e. using twigs to cover doorbell camera etc. So who knows where he's also 'stumbled'.

Ashleigh Banfield's source's name for the "person of interest" (from a week and a half ago) in the disappearance of NG remains the same. (The son-in-law?)

IMO, then at some earlier point the masked man in the video (Carlos?) was hired to remove 'mom' from her house.

Such a sad & cruel saga.

Sure, but other men who look similar are not the last person to see Nancy and their homes/neighborhoods haven’t been searched nonstop by LE for the past two weeks.

I just can’t shake the feeling that he’s involved somehow. With all the public scrutiny he’s getting you’d think they’d want to clear his name, but for some reason they haven’t. All my opinion.

The chins don't appear to be the same. SiL has a noticeably longer chin imo.

We need to remember that NG's home has minimal street lighting by law. Pima County has strict outdoor lighting ordinances to protect astronomical observations. ****STATUTES TITLE 49, CHAPTER SEVEN IS THE "DARK SKY ORDINANCE.” Passed in 1987, the law states that all nonconforming yard or porch lights must be off from midnight until dawn to give amateur astronomers and stargazers a chance to enjoy the beauty of nighttime Arizona skies. http://www.mca-az.com/DARK_SKY_ORDINANCE.pdf

I would not react to the supposed FBI vs State Law Enforcement media panic. This comes up in a lot of long running cases. There are good reasons why local forces like help from the FBI which has some specialist resources, but don't want to hand over the whole case - which after all, is in their jurisdiction.

As far as we know, there is a decent chance this was a rando - e,g burglary gone wrong, home invader etc, in which case tracking him down could take some time. Keep in mind it took 6 weeks to identify and arrest Kohberger.

Other types of cases with staging etc can take even longer. Indeed one can find numerous cases where it can take months or years to find the victim. Many times, simply because the perp got lucky despite heavy resource investment at state and federal level.

My opinion, based on a few major cases, where the victim is missing.

Because his beard makes it appear longer, if he scrunched down his beard into the mask his chin would then look shorter than usual, as it does imo.

I’m not saying it’s definitely him, but it sure could be. If AB outed it before LE was ready to that could botch their investigation though.
