In this instance, these are family members who cared and loved NG. They are people who are grieving, living in this situation. They might be listening to the social media frenzy declaring they are guilty of killing the very person they love. I couldn't go out and create more speculation from people that are strangers. And of course, will anyone believe them? JMO

I so agree! I believe the family when they say they don’t recognize who is on the footage and I believe the sheriff when he says that the family has been receptive and open to LE/FBI. I read some posts about AG and TC and it’s honestly heartbreaking. They have more to lose , monetarily, professionally and locally, than any of their siblings imo. SG will most likely be ok given her professional status atm. CG is supposedly still active in the Vermont Air National Guard. AG and TC live in Az, a few minutes from her mother. Their livelihood and jobs and home and child are in AZ. Having their names plastered everywhere as suspects because of what some half wit reporter said, or because people don’t like the words of their poems or music, or the way they behave in a pleading video. Good grief. Our family deals with heavy things with dark humor. We even jokingly say, “hope no one ever hears us or sees this but us.” We don’t ’literally“ mean it, It’s how we cope. We look for the humor even in the dark times. People Process trauma and grief differently and they are allowed to be “weird” or “off.” Their normal regular life in AZ is over. Even if 100 cleared there will still be outliers of people that don’t believe it. Or people that think they know more about what happened than what was reported. A 6th grade teacher at a school?…Omg.. I can hear some of the parents talking now.
I feel terrible for this entire family. I can’t even imagine the pain. Their 84 year old obviously injured mother has vanished, and they’ve dealt with this horror almost 2 weeks!

Everyone is allowed their own opinion and I think the family, NG children and spouses, are innocent. NG I pray you find your way back home safe and sound to your family MOO

Yes of course I am open minded and if there is new information my opinion will change but at this point with the info we have it doesn't logically point to them anymore as the most straight forward answer..IMO Obviously we don't have all the info and I have an open mind but at this point I view them as victims only, until something new is revealed to change that. Yes but taking her mom would definitely get her attention. If this was the case maybe he thinks he can get Savannah to do what he wants or maybe this is a long and drawn out punishment because she hasn’t acknowledged him yet.

Something to know - there is a very popular women's Bible teacher in Nashville named Nancy Guthrie as well. She does several speaking events and has written many books (I own several). So any searches for that name prior to her missing may not be related to this particular NG.

Yes their reputations and that cloud of suspicion that has gone on so long even if they arrest someone else, has the potential to alter their lives and livelihoods so negatively for the longterm mnimally. It is just wrong imo

Some thoughts. If it turns out that DE was involved, that does not necessarily mean that SIL was involved. And if DE & SIL were involved, that does not necessarily mean that AG was involved. Of course, they could all have been involved, but some of them might not have been.

I think there are (at least) two crimes here: the abduction and possible murder, and the extortion via ransom demands. The same people/teams may have done both, or separate people/teams may have done each.

Working in and on NG's home, or being in her orbit, might give someone info that would be useful in to the abduction and possible murder. It also might give someone info that would be useful for after-the-fact extortion.

How long does an emergency warrant usually take?

I think it depends on the time of day and the day. My father is a retired Superior Court judge and over the weekends, judges were assigned weekends to be on call if an emergency warrant was needed.

This might rile some people but I'm one who still thinks that the SIL is a suspect. IMO, he either did the act himself or had help in getting it done. There had to have been a motive for this kidnapping/abduction. I'm thinking she took an Uber and showed up unexpectedly. There has been a post saying that a pizza was ordered. I think she had something she wanted to say and it did not go very well with her daughter and son-in-law. He has admitted taking her home. I do not see where anyone else had a motive.
I think she told them that the "the bank was closed" and that they were not getting anymore money from her. I have tried and just cannot see where the daughter and son-in-law could afford a $650,000 house. She was a poet and he was a biology teacher and a bass guitarist in a local band. The math just does not add up to me. Maybe someone else sees it differently, I don't.

Yes it doesn't - but the cloud of suspicion and reputation damage that will likely remain could have devastating consequences for them on top of the fact that she lost a close family member in such a horrible manner. Really hoping this is resolved definitively for all.

According to Jonathan Hunt at Foxnews (live reporting) it is only the 2nd time in the 11 days he has been on site that they have been deployed. The only other time was when they were after Carlos.

I should clarify, I wonder if it's normal for this type of a situation in general (recovery/arrest/negotiation/etc) rather than just specific to this area.
