Just catching up on the breaking news here. I don't know all the specifics but it doesn't bode well for Nancy IMO. The home involved with detained individuals was just 2 miles from Nancy's residence? Wonder what the pool guys might have been searching for yesterday at Nancy's home?

I'm still holding on to hope that these monsters kept her alive during this time. No way for an innocent 84 year old woman to spend her last days if not. I can't imagine. :(

It doesn't look good. There were reports of a Medical Examiner present in the area of the home being searched via a warrant.

Aw, shucks, thanks! I'm anxious to see what pans out. I need to give credit to who originally posted the theory that a dealership employee may have been driving the car (due to the paper tag). That's what got my wheels turning.

Eta: it was @Devs who made the comment. Thanks to them!
WOW!! Unbelievable the resemblance to the sketch!! Excellent work by you and @Devs.

I process by writing....thought I'd share some reflections as I feel like so many of us have been connected over the last few weeks 🫶

I know we've all been wanting answers since Nancy first went missing, but now I have this feeling of dread finding out the answers. Like putting a face to the crime is somehow more confronting than not knowing. Of course I want whomever did this caught and punished and the family to have some sense of peace and healing and hopefully Nancy home, but its the cold hard reality that can't be avoided to achieve this that I don't want.

It's like we know there is what some would call 'evil' or their own term for people who do these horrible things, but once there is a fairly everyday looking face that goes along with it, it somehow makes it even more confronting.

The bad guy wearing a mask in a horror movie, listening to a true crime podcast....there's some sense of separation from these even though they bring a level of discomfort, sometimes fear. But we can relish in curiosity from an arm's distance and a misguided sense of it not directly impacting us. Feeling like when we lock ourselves in our homes at night, all is well.

But there's a very deep and extraordinarily unsettling feeling that arises seeing those images of the man at Nancy's door, masked and armed, knowing he was, as far as we know, about to breach Nancy's safe haven. Whether or not someone else was already in there or went in after, just knowing Nancy came into contact with this masked figure is gut-wrenchingly hard to reflect on. I don't know about you, but I've had these flashes of thoughts imagining what if it was my dearly departed Mum or Nan or Grandma facing this in the middle of the night, alone.

If things are going the way we suspect, we may very well soon be able to pull off the mask and see the face underneath, but I don't think I really want to see the face underneath. It's likely someone we could walk past in the street and not suspect for a minute they could be capable of such horrible acts, of which we aren't even aware of yet.

I have become more conscious of my home security in the last few weeks, and I think Nancy's disappearance will leave a long-lasting effect on me and probably many others. I have no doubt there have been purchases around the world of Nests and Ring cameras, extra lights and security, which will one day probably save lives that we will never hear about or know about. That's because of Nancy. It will be one of her many legacies, regardless of whether she makes it home safely (I still HOPE) or not.

And I hope for those lucky enough to still have their elderly family members and friends, give them extra hugs and kisses x

If I had to speculate, and this is a ransom plot this group devised - they may not be very good at it and she unexpectedly didn't make it. I have wondered if the reason the sent Ransom note 1 and then there was a delay for a bit is they panicked if something bad happened to her. Just speculating...

Yeah, unfortunately we must brace ourselves for some bad news in that regard. There is still a tiny bit of hope.

I deeply hope she is found, she has to be back with her family where she belongs. 💔

Love will always conquer this type of evil. However, I cannot comprehend how evil one must be to do this…

If the news reports are true about the suicide, then they have captured the evil entities.

I still think there's a chance the whole thing was staged...

What if... Lantana man is the one who contacted TMZ to dob the others in. He wanted BC to start afresh, say in Dubai, or somewhere. Let's say he played a smaller role, taking Nest, although of course he did have that fat as backpack on which doesn't bode well.

Who hired 'em ??

I also believe this i.e. if one of the culprits self deleted.

Whilst I think it's vital to consider every angle, and the role of an amateur sleuth is to clutch onto every straw dangled in front of our faces, it's important to say that the link to ZJ, via MG Motors, is tenuous at best.

The car impounded by the police had an MG sticker on it. That means it was purchased at the dealership...nothing more. ZJ 'likes' all the posts made by MG, not those exclusive to the Range Rovers on sale, and he's an employee there, so he's almost duty bound to promote their social media.

Whilst his eyes and facial hair do look remarkably like those of "Lantana man" (I've even superimposed the colourised infrared balaclava images over photos of ZJs face and the resemblance is startling) the same could be said for heaven-knows how many more people.

I'm all for good investigating and I've been swept up in NGs disappearance like everyone else here, but I think we should exercise caution when the links are, at this stage, circumstantial at best.

Did anyone scroll through the IG and see the photos of him standing/his legs/type of shoes? 😮

I can’t seem to get any “latest” results about ZB on X, which makes me think that’s deliberate and this IS the culprit and MAYBE he is the one who shot himself.
I’m speculating, of course.

If LE is checking Walmarts now, this might be over soon!

“A law enforcement expert speculated Friday that investigators working the Nancy Guthrie case are likely reviewing sales of Ozark Trail backpacks at Walmart stores in the Tucson area.

“If it was purchased new, you can go to Walmart with a subpoena, they will do this, they probably have already done it, and say who has bought that specific backpack in the greater Tucson area over the last couple of months, last six months, year, whatever it is, so now you get a list of names,” NBC law enforcement and national intelligence reporter Tom Winter said on the “Today" on Friday. “Even if they bought by cash, you would still have a record of that person buying, perhaps surveillance video of that person buying.”

The FBI’s Phoenix Office said Thursday that the masked suspect seen in a surveillance video released earlier this week is “wearing a black, 25-liter ‘Ozark Trail Hiker Pack’ backpack.” The Ozark Trail brand is owned by Walmart.”
Good ole' Walmart has been the downfall of too many criminals to name. :D

No one here has doxxed him. The FBI has swarmed in on this vehicle and it’s linked to that dealership. I think we are on the money, but innocent until proven guilty. But, again, no one has named him or his associates.

Kudos to both of you! This is a really good example of why off the cuff and outside the box thinking should be encouraged. Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs come from this kind of dynamic.

Thank you. I hope this gets picked up by a lot of media, because it's wrong to keep accusing people of a crime without having evidence. JMO
Agreed, I got it from the MSN article I posted in the link at the bottom so at least it is out there to some degree. I never thought a family member was involved. I can't explain exactly why I felt that way, I just did.

Waiting to hear. I have a bad feeling about what was found in the Range Rover.

If this is the same Land Rover, it was not purchased recently and is still for sale. You can see the price history of it here on the CarFax website. The dealer, MG Motors lowered the price to $17,995 on February 3rd. Several days AFTER Nancy went missing.

The last ransom letter sent to TMZ that Harvey read, is either legit or extremely coincidental given that "international" line. Look up those who own and work at MG Motors. And we aren't talking about Mexico.

"The manhunt of the main individual that can give you all the answers, be prepared to go international"
