The longer time goes on and no perp is found, the more far fetched (casting a wide-net here) the ideas can get.

In regards to a targeted act, I wonder if AG had a side relationship? Someone who wanted to 'help' her? (if there was expression of any frustration) Or someone who wanted revenge against her or someone else in the G family?

It does seem that if it was something like this, LE would have already been on it. Especially the rumors about a possible bandmate all over SM. I feel LE would have already figured that out.

I do feel that it's a local to the area. And from the start I have felt that the ransomer was either in the house, or connected to someone who was.

I sure hope that this doesn't become a cold case. Heart aches for the family, with each new lead that seems to go nowhere.

ALL JMO.

The positioning of holster is odd, but maybe not. I have heard talking heads on CNN and Fox stating it shows someone unfamiliar with gun holstering. That could be, but it is unique. Certainly displaying it in that way is bold and anyone watching their camera would immediately call 911. I think that is important.
@St.Michael gave a very good explanation for the holster positioning. It is indeed a known behavior sported by some in Mexico. Keep in mind weapons in Mexico are very strictly regulated, so those displaying this behavior would be considered more along the lines of "vaquero" style. Read St.Michael's post upthread, he did a thorough job of explaining the cultural significance.

Signs Point to an Inside job

“The cameras were installed by Nancy's family, including her Today anchor daughter Savannah, for their elderly mom's safety, especially if she suffered a fall.

But the abductor knew where they were situated, prompting a belief they may have been familiar with the security setup – first reported by journalist Ashleigh Banfield – inside the home.

A source said, "The signs point to an inside job. Cameras that were smashed inside the home were there to protect their mother.

"Only a very few people have access to them — they were installed to make sure nothing happened to their mom, like if she fell when home alone."

Whoever this possible abductor is, they went inside the house and knew where those cameras were pointing," the insider added. "They were able to smash the cameras before their motion was visible in the recordings or streams. To do this, it takes a chilling level of intel."

Still say she wasn't there to be abducted in the first place, it was staged after something happened elsewhere.

Whatever purpose of holstering this way, it is deliberate IMO. Either habitual or offleading.

Or just having worked or been in the house and noticed the cameras.

JUST IN: The Pima County Sheriff tells us regarding last night’s law enforcement activity, it was, “Nothing more than a lead tracked down that led to a search warrant and no arrest.”We’re of course still waiting for the FBI’s statement

They really need to explain themselves , the train of thought they are on, because its making them look incompetent
That many cops for a lead and no arrests? I’m losing faith in this investigation.

The black above the mouth appears to be facial hair, the ski mask and high collar prevent ever seeing any skin around the chin or neck so its quite likely they could have a beard

also per article I read today, a friend visited Nancy a few days before she was taken and it said she helped her to the mailbox....the mailbox looks directly going down the sidewalk, so it shows the front door and security door seems to have been used by the household
Is there a link for the article?

IMO it would be very difficult to hide a beard longer than chin length

Not buying that about internal cameras, we would have heard about that before now. If even to confirm Nancy was seen inside the house that night. Nonsense IMO.

I heard on a podcast last night that journalist are already trying to position themselves to take over Savanna's Today host position.
that job is for Shienelle or Jenna.
if they gave Shienelle a year to deal with her poor husband, they can handle SG taking a break
that said i dont think she will. she worked hard for that position and is at the top of her game

"FBI update about Nancy Guthrie investigation being held up

because they're waiting for test results from blundering sheriff's office."

The Daily Mail pays top dollar to the paparazzi for shots and it shows but when it comes to actual journalists they seem to invest nothing.

Seems like a strange time to get a pool cleaned. It can wait.

Why let additional folks onto the property if it’s entirely unnecessary. Hopefully this isn’t like the pizza delivery guy sent by some randos. LE should turn pool people away regardless of who approved them.
YES. I know there are going to be folks here who say why not, but I’d rather see as few people/changes on the property as possible, at least for a few weeks. It seems strange and wrong to me,
