Am I getting this result because I’m in Europe or is the system down?
I believe it's just a standard disclaimer to cover the agency's rears legally. I've seen them with other agencies. JMO

I got this message about 45 minutes ago. Wondering if the ability to do inmate lookup was disabled.

This sounds quite desperate. Like a shotgun strategy (excuse the pun). Not like a targeted investigation.

And where does the investigation go from here? Suggest a strategy to locate NG.

Harvey Levin is saying this....

For my fellow video haters… Harvey Levin from TMZ says:
  • DNA testing on glove is complete in FL lab, but for federal standards, to check in CODIS, it has to be tested in the state in which it is found (not from Harvey: this has now been done)
  • The glove is not the glove the NY Post found, which apparently people believed, but a different glove from 2 miles away
  • Semi-automatic handgun in the holster
  • LE has tried to identify people who’ve purchased a specific holster, and that is the list that they are taking to local gun shops to see if those people are recognized, or perhaps purchased a gun that would match the one seen in the Nest footage
  • TMZ will not be talking about the person sending them the letters anymore because he doesn’t want to leak anything to the public or create speculation about information they might have. He also seems to say that they will let the public know if the letter writer sends them info and they pass it onto the FBI, but this seems to contradict everything else he was saying.

I’m hopeful that the DNA found at the home of NG will hit in CODIS and we will be very close to finding her.

Oh it was not just a disclaimer. It said search was unavailable. But I have been able to now.

Harvey should move on with Hollywood celebrity gossip, in my humble opinion. jmo

Have they said that they’re testing other DNA found in the house? I heard someone mention this today. I only heard about the gloves.

Not the OP. But I strongly believe identifying a vehicle that was likely used might end up being the key piece that gets the ball rolling.

Especially “if” they end up not having a complete DNA profile from the crime scene. moo

For the record, Bryan Kohberger was arrested (Dec 30), over a month after this press release. At the time of this press release they had not yet gotten a name through genetic genealogy.

Sorry, I posted the wrong release. This is a day before and also lists no suspect etc.

I don't see that she will be located except through the suspect. Is the pacemaker tracking working out? Doesn't seem so unless I don't understand how long it takes.

Hopefully they are pursuing IGG on the DNA from inside the house.
Yes and since they should have collected and analyzed that very early on, they may not be that far off from making some kind of identification using IGG. They will probably not make any IGG findings public because they won't want to tip off the perp.
