Thank you!! I was waiting to hear something like that!! Quoting my own post again:

‘After many hours of research of everything we know, of almost everything available open - source, I have a completely different thought of what the motive is in this case.

The discovery of the possible ring on the suspects right hand may be a dead giveaway. Someone will or has already recognized it IMO. For the subject to wear the ring during the crime, it must have significance to them. Why risk losing it? Or did he know he would not take his glove(s) off and therefore he would keep his precious ring on. He was not planning on going through drawers, trying to open a safe (if there was one) with his clumsy gloves.

No, not a burglary gone wrong, but taking or hurting a specific person with the intention to further hurt another family member - SG. ALL IMO- MOO etc.

The subject committed this crime to hurt SG. He wants SG to feel fear, despair and see her feel hopeless. The subject may have experienced loss in his own family - perhaps several losses- and something SG did, said or wrote may not have sit well with the subject. The subject has mental and or health issues IMO and has a deranged mind.

Tracing family lineage through DNA will solve this case hopefully soon. Whether we will know about Nancy Guthrie’s whereabouts ands state is another question. The hope dies last..’

Cheers,
Nin

And fairly coincidental that our favorite J, “neighbor” of NG, who came from miles away to be interviewed, wears a ring on his right hand. As seen in his second interview.

Really not sure why he feels the need to say anything at all.

Unfortunately, I have a different type of security camera where images are saved on my Windows laptop hard drive, even with my camera disconnected.

Anyone know why the following steps do not work for a (Google) Nest camera like Nancy Guthrie had?

On Computers
  • Windows: Open File Explorer (Windows Key + E) and click on the Downloads folder in the left sidebar.
On Mobile Devices
  • Android: Open your app drawer, find the Files or My Files app, and look in the Downloads folder.
  • iPhone/iPad: Open the Files app, tap the "Browse" tab, and select On My iPhone/iPad > Downloads.

I think proprietary systems, like Google Nest and Amazon Ring, don’t have the same “open source” nature regarding files and them automatically saving as unencrypted mp4 videos on your computer or device. Instead, the videos are initially accessible only within their own app, unless you then save a copy to your device or your cloud storage, such as Google Drive. I could be wrong though, and there might well be settings that circumvent this, depending on your subscription tier or something, but with NG not having a subscription, it’s kind of moot, as the videos wouldn’t have saved on any devices in any case, even within the app.

There is another difference between de shadow/no shadow picture. Items were moved. I tried to frame it
IMO, that might just be things looking different under different lighting. this would fit the assumption that the lighting was indeed different due to a passing cloud or being from a different time.

there was a new moon around january 18th. if the image were from around then, it would have been dark out at night, regardless of the weather.

edit: according to this, the weather in tucson was clear almost every hour of most days. there were only 3 clumps of days with cloudy weather overnight: january 1, 7-8, and 22-25. so assuming there was indeed no light out, and this image is from some time in january (?), it would seem to come from either one of those days, or from around the 18th when there was a new moon.

I think that might be the backpack.

edit: scratch that, I think I was probably seeing things in the blurriness. On a larger screen, I don’t so much think so!

Was this guy a neighbor of TC? Or am I remembering some other interviewee? jmo

I’m thinking LE has not publicly discussed the shoes because they didn’t want the perp to get rid of them. You can be sure they are deep into trying to identify brands and treads. This is the kind of info they would put into their sealed affidavits.

I'd bet they are from Walmart too. The suspect is a walking Walmart advertisement.

I'm also not seeing a gun in front of his crotch. Cropped from the images in your EXCELLENT post. You can see it in the image on the right, but not the one on the left.

Here's the same image showing their entire bodies. Also noticed that the guy on the right has that head light thing on, the other guy does not.

In the image where no holster is visible, is it possible that he was wearing the holster more traditionally (in nit out, side not center) and moved it front and center as he approached the door (or offside)? I'm noticing the bulk at his hip.

For less that $50, it seems that anyone can purchase an entire abduction outfit and gear from the Walmart. Isn't there some logic built into their inventory/purchase system that if these items are all bought together, perhaps we should look into it further because it doesn't just seem like joe-shmo is going on a family camping trip?

And looks like he is wearing makeup. Especially eye liner. Hair nicely done. Just an attention seeker.

He claimed to be, but also said he lived “about fifteen minutes away”.

I’ve been a bit behind so forgive me. I’ve thought this for a bit, regarding the theory that 2 people were involved. If they did in fact enter through the back window/slider, why the heck would a person come around the house to disable the nest camera? Wouldn’t one think to just simply open the door from the inside, break the camera off and then take her out? Whole thing is so sus I’m not sure we’ll ever know. JMO

Do we have any sense of what occurred at 1:47? Disabled what? Disrupted wifi? Disrupted electricty? Disabled A camera but not ALL cameras?

I have questions.

It was a full moon the evening of the abduction: Moon Phase for Today and Tonight

Any chance you could do a screen grab from the video to which you refer so we can see the ring?
And give us a link to the video? 😁

Maybe he meant he lives 15 min away from NG's. Which would be true if he is TC's neighbor. Apparently, he really wanted to get his 2cents worth in. UGH jmo

Is there a way to compile as much information as possible and get an expert in AI to run algorithms to come up with new information that may not have looked at yet. Just a thought from left field.
I feel like if the possibility exists that she was taken across the border, perhaps an AI scan of face images from vehicles traveling past the checkpoint would be potentially helpful. They also have heat scanners to detect life forms not readily visible from the windows (like for human smuggling). So even if a live person were in a trunk it would be visible that way and surely would prompt further investigation. At least that's how it is for cars entering the US, not sure about those leaving the US.
