Has anybody provided a reasonable explanation for why porch guy would exit the house or not enter then open the front door from inside if he had already gained access or any accomplice had when removing the camera?

Doubt there was an accomplice. My stalker went in the front door to limit his exposure from possible outside backyard cameras. I dont believe the backyard figured into this at all. In and out the front door. Period. IMO

1. how did he get in
2. Why was he seemingly ok with NG receiving a Nest notice from the porch (lights out assumption?), and
3. How did he manage a largely immobile NG on his own from home to auto, especially given no auto is visible in the logical spot (where the blood stops)?

I'm hung up on these questions. If I think he brought a device or strategy for bypassing NGs keyless door, then I wonder about the unpreparedness of the camera and it doesn't make sense.

Agreed. I definitely don't feel there is a lot a typical elderly person can do to prevent a determined assailant. I have done all I can to avoid being helpless in such a situation but that doesn't mean I would win.

I took training lessons on shooting a gun for protection at 76. There were many women in their 80’s in the class who knew a lot more than I could even remember. They were on target too. I had no hand strength at the time but they sure did. When class was over, my targets were a hundred percent. It was total self defense. I learned to shoot sideways and other things too. I never want to shoot someone and I don’t carry, though i do have a license to carry. But I don’t want anyone breaking into my home. You learn to do strengthening exercises for your hands and I recommend that for anyone.

Sadly, what we must remember is that Nancy may have slept soundly from the medicines she took and if so, never knew the man was in her home. And to be startled by anyone waking you, I doubt I would think to grab my gun. Her age likely wouldn’t affect her ability to shoot to kill, but being awaken at night sure could have. God bless her.

I hope that maybe someone was just enamored with one of her kids and is keeping her safe as a treasure since they don t have “the one” they really wanted. Praying for her safe return.

For just a moment, I would like to speculate on something. It "appears" that my delusional stalker has more than one layer of clothes on, at least from the waist up. Besides not wanting to leave DNA evidence, i think it could be considered that this is someone who may do this kind of "gowning and masking and double gloving" for a living. Think, hazmat style jobs, Military seals, AND MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS. MIGHT MY (YES IT'S MY THEORY THUS MY STALKER, LOL), be someone who works in an environment that dons layers of clothes for the protection of themselves or their patients, for example. Are we looking at a hospital worker? Someone who works in the operating room, even if just to clean between surgeries? A nurse, a male aide, an overworked 1st year intern, a medical researcher, a lab worker? Something worth considering. Someone who works different shifts. Rotating shifts. One week days, 2 weeks evenings then 1 week nights? Schedule is flexible so family might not have noticed he wasnt home that night and is intermittently unavailable in the last 4 weeks and doesnt think it's odd? JMO

Saying this could have been prevented if NG had a guard dog, or a gun, or a robust and monitored security system, or a 24/7 armed security person, a moat and barbed wire with a fire breathing guard dragon, a husband or anything else that one thinks might have been helpful to ward off an attacker or otherwise deter an attack simply reads as victim blaming for having not done enough to prevent her own attack and disappearance. Whatever women do is never enough it seems, they always could have done more or done some thing better. If NG was a male I doubt this would keep coming up. MOO.

Does Nancy's house have keyless entry? The screen door is keyed, but we have no idea if it was locked.

Could a suspect break in through the garage like this?

He could, especially is he was on a drug like meth. Makes a person super strong and mean. Then if he used the front door to get her there and attack her for some grudge, he could have meant to leave her there. But something went wrong. i always thought there were two men but now I think it was just the one.
