I think someone from the prosecutor's office was there today. They're preparing a case.
I think about that a lot, too.I'm thinking back to the beginning of this crime. The homicide team was called in. To me, there is evidence we don't know about that leads them to believe something horrific happened in the house.
Last time I posted those links and they were deleted, the reason given was to do with the safety of someone in NG’s area (I’m being deliberately vague). So the show links themselves may be okay to post. (Not sure!)How is gem show talk allowed? I posted much about this, and my posts were deleted because gem show talk here was not allowed.
Idk, i'm sorry if it is not allowed. I just noticed a conversation and no link provided so i just added the link. How is gem show talk allowed? I posted much about this, and my posts were deleted because gem show talk here was not allowed.
I don't think people knew what his previous conviction was but definitely some kind of witch hunt mentality.Plenty of posters here would have cheered them on, too. There was incessant sleuthing and accusations of guilt regarding that person here on websleuths, until mods, thankfully, shut it down.
I don't see it either but since we have no clue who is responsible for taking Nancy we just have to look in all nooks and crannies.Shoplifting and home invasion/abduction are such vastly different crimes. I don't see it.
MOO
Definitely. It was when the porch photos were released. A large contingent of people were convinced it was him. He was dragged into it.I don't think people knew what his previous conviction was but definitely some kind of witch hunt mentality.
Yes! I have them in my car as well, very helpful
White vans make sense also if from the Medical Examiner's office/County Coroner...I will say they don't really use traditional hearses around Tucson any longer. I used to work next to the medical examiner's office and most of the time the vehicles bringing and taking away the souls were white minivans from the funeral homes.
I don't think those are family attorneys. First, they would not be entitled to any detective rundown on anything of substance. But also, they don't look at and act like estate attorneys. They look like prosecutors. It would either be prosecutors or her personal family attorneys dealing with trust, estate, and will issues, things like that.
I did read that Savannah hired private investigators, whoever, and at this point, not knowing if the kidnapper had a grudge, or anything else, the family must protect themselves, and their own families now. It would be sad if the advice would be for them all to move somewhere else, as they have children in schools, friends, etc. This is affecting the local community, but the family most of all. I just wish they could get this guy and any accomplices. Heart wrenching.Having looked at multiple videos of the activities, black SUVs, suited people, some people wearing baseball caps etc. at Nancy Guthrie’s home today 2/25/26, IMHO this is what happened:
1. The bad news is that the sheriff has exhausted his department’s investigative ability, and they have now released the crime scene
2. The new $1,000,000 rewards have generated new interests, including perhaps large investigative firms. Savannah Guthrie has the means to hire these types of investigative teams
3. The good news is that the new people who came today are (90% sure) Intelligence and Investigation Agents, Executive Protection Agents, and undercover FBI
4. Intelligence and Investigation Agents (IIA) are of the type Private Investigators such as in a marital misconduct or inheritance dispute, but they are employed by large firms with legal, financial, scientific etc. capabilities
5. Usually, IIA travel with Executive Protection Agents (EPA). EPA are not to be confused with bodyguard (special police officer level). Besides protection, EPA do pre-planning of deployment, travel management, crime scene management, risk mitigations, and investigation
6. While local law enforcement may have released the crime scene, usually IIA and undercover FBI agents collaborate. IIA are hired after local law enforcement finished their job but the FBI may continue investigating beyond routine. Hence, they collaborate with private companies. It would not be surprising if some FBI agents not wearing badges were present today
7. I do not know if I may post their website but you may google ASIG American Special Investigative Group as an example of such private firms. ASIG has IIA, EPA, and even specialized professionals called "Missing Person Investigators."
NOW: Pima County adds restrictive parking rules for Nancy Guthrie’s neighborhood starting on Feb. 26th.
“There will be no parking on several streets in the Catalina Foothills Estates neighborhood surrounding the Nancy Guthrie residence…”

Agree. So, why do you suppose 1 vehicle parked in the garage? Were they planning on taking something out of that vehicle or putting something into that vehicle?I just don't think that the family would leave the gated community they were reported to be staying in and risk being mobbed and/or followed by the media. MOO.
I was just about ready to head over there, to sleuth in person, just kidding!

I think it's more likely this is the end result of neighbours reaching the limits of their patience.Welp that tells you right there that an arrest is not coming anytime soon. Otherwise there would be no need for this release.
Once an arrest is made the media will move on and or atleast focuses their attention elsewhere. And Pima county would know that
