Agree, yet he chose to act on a night with a full moon. I guess not much of a risk to be seen there?

I mentioned a while back that maybe the Saturday night dinner was a regular thing for NG and her family. Though I don't think it has been mentioned either way

But maybe that's the link between the visits. Someone on AG's side of town who was watching/following those nights. Could explain the LE interest around AG's area

When I looked at video of Callella being released from jail back on Feb 12th--my impression was he was rather tall. Definitely thought over 6-'0" tall based on him towering over the lady walking near him.

But then I thought.....what if he is shorter? So looking up his HT from his arrest records-- he is listed as between 5'-9"-5'-10"...medium build. Hmmm. JMO.

Can Derrick Callella be the man on NG's porch? Where was he 1/31/26 to 2/1/26?
I know some of you WSer's are great at graphics......would love to see a facial comparison to the porch man. Eyes, lips etc.

PS...on the video of Callella being released from jail--I notice he made a great effort to keep his right hand inside his pocket at all times and covered/concealed. Possibly hurt smashing floodlights somewhere?

Probably coincidence, but he has a wide bottom and touched his belt buckle in the same way porch guy touched the holstered gun. Would think he has alibi for 1/31 or they wouldn’t have released him.

Would it change any theory or suspect for you if it was revealed the perp was wearing a mask under the balaclava?

I’ve come to believe he was wearing a two masks, and a tiny bite light was in his mouth UNDER the 3d realistic thin mask. Or possibly, there was a light taped to his face (think filmmaking) that had a remote to wrist possibly.

It really makes me wonder why- why the need to alter even the tiniest part of a face visible?

There are screenshots at the link above that do not show any movement of lips, no open mouth. And a quoted post below makes it appear that the light is under the lips at one point.

And, to answer your question, would it change our theories if it was revealed the perp was wearing a mask under the balaclava?

For me, 4 things have changed how I am viewing this crime and suspect:

1. The video of him disguised at the front door prior to the night of the crime suggests that he wanted to fully check out NG's house and property, as well as see if a masked figure at her door would raise any alarms.

2. The walky talky in his pocket suggests that he thought clearly about the dangers of having a cell phone with him, even if turned off.

3. The walky talky tells us that he was communicating with another person, and that therefore he had an accomplice.

4. The multiple masks tell us that he absolutely wasn't taking any chances in possibly being identified. I don't believe it means that NG might have recognized him, but rather that he made sure that his facial features would be unknown.

All of this changed how I view this crime and I believe that the perpetrators planned that they were going to abduct NG and assessed her nest cam, home and property prior to the crime. They masked very carefully, did not use their phones and planned to abduct NG.

Last night on BEs show, he mentioned there is construction on NGs street. I believe he said two houses going up? Anyways, that was the first I heard that and it naturally made me wonder about the workers.

Yes. If it's not family related, which LE have said it's not, then it's likely they suspect it's someone who has connections to both areas for both to have been canvassed so much IMO

I imagine that they didn't even realize it was a full moon. Since they smashed the outdoor lights, it seems that they would have preferred to commit the crime when the moon wasn't full and they were so much more visible than on any other night.

It's something that seems to have an antenna but it could be something like a scanner or some kind of spammer, too. If it's not a walkie talkie, then there's no verification that this guy on the porch was working with somebody else. I do think that his elaborate disguise, him apparently not having a cell phone and his having previously "cased" the house suggests he put some thought into this crime and how not to get caught. Of course, one never knows, though.

Yeah, that was my point really. The possibility that it is a walkie talkie in his pocket is the only thing pointing to it being more than one person (aside from it just be easier for 2+ people) IMO

I'm starting to lean more towards it being something to interfere with the WiFi, as I'm having a hard time explaining the the gap between the supposed disconnection of the camera at 1:47am and the video on the porch which appears to be around 2:12am when the motion was detected
