Nate's Story

That is why I don't understand the term "dating" because it is really "I'm having sex with her and partying with her" more than with any other woman.

Absolutely CaliforniaDreamer. I also put that on another thread. Casey had nowhere to go other than TonE's if she wanted to be "independent" because she was broke and stealing from the very friend who could have provided an alternative.

Well put. I was always doubting, but still holding out hope that somehow/someway there was a ZG who had Caylee. But the fact that Casey had been cornered, by both CA and AL and poor Caylee was in the middle, makes it all crystal clear that it was all about Casey. Casey does what she needs to do at the moment to meet her own needs - lying, stealing, and unfortunately, she upped the ante this time, and her daughter suffered the consequences. Very very sad.

Upped the Ante is right! Like I said recently on another thread here is: She gambled with her daughter's life and lost.

I don't think Casey drugged and left Caylee in the trunk or car so that she could party at Tony's. I think it all boiled down to her getting caught stealing from her grandparents account and being threatened to either give up custody of Caylee or be charged with a crime. I also believe that she did not have permission to take the car and that the parents knew that she didn't have a real job. RP verified that Cindy knew about ten years of lies and called Casey a sociopath three weeks before Caylee even went missing. The research of chloroform shows that some sort of plan was most likely already in place.

concentric - do you think she gambled it (i.e., by trying to keep her sleeping in the trunk at night), or that she out and out just killed her? I see her as being very impulsive, and after hearing her phone calls in the jail where she just seethes rage to those who would be most able to help her, I can't help but think that Caylee was killed in a fit of anger. Especially if they both left the house the night of the 15th, storming out after the fight (I don't believe GA's story about the 16th) and Caylee was crying and saying she wanted to stay with her CiCi. I just think a situation like that would have pushed KC over the edge - everyone was against her, even her daughter, who again was the root of all her problems (in her mind). We may never know the whole story unfortunately.

"I can't figure this out on my own. I have been living and breathing this case for 12 long weeks (as Nancy would say). My house is a disaster and I am losing all contact with friends and family, lol."

Honestly, you and for that matter none of us need to "figure this out" It sounds like it is time to step back and walk away from this for a week. Many Many people I have begun to notice are taking this on as a personal crusade that they refuse to fail at. The ultimate job is in the hands of the police. Do research in your "spare" time. Take care of your other aspects of your life full time.

This is honest and serious advice I give not just to you but to anyone and everyone that feels this way. Including the protestors. People are getting too close to the case, a policeman getting this close would have been pulled off the case under these conditions, consider that as you breach the line between assisting people with information and getting your self so involved you feel you have begun to take the burden on all by yourself and nobody is there helping. Nobody outside of the police department should feel 100% or even 5% of the burden here, and even a police officer would be removed if he got that involved, so if you feel that way please I caution everyone to step back.

I could be wrong, but from what I read on there they communicated for a long time before he met her in person so I am assuming he knew full well she had a child.

Since he only met her in May, and they didn't date until June, it is very unlikely he saw this as a "relationship" at all.

Laneymae, great new theory!!! And she didn't send Caylee back to CA and GA being she was fighting with CA and the last person she wanted to ask for help was her mother. Great Sleuthing!!!

Men have sex with women and enjoy their company even when they don't see a future.

It doesn't make them good guys.

But, it happens.

It doesn't make them "bad guys" either............That is just the difference between the sexes. To men sex and love may or may not be the same thing.

Just because they have sex with someone, that does not mean they want them moving into their apartment. I think that is where Tony was with Casey.

You know what really struck me as I listened to a re-run of the Nate interview? After I heard the recording of KC and listened carefully to Nate, I realized something I had missed before. Nate spoke of Caylee in the present tense. She is a smart girl, she loves to play drums, she likes to wake us up.......... KC spoke in the past tense, and all the investigators and legal eagles picked right up on it. But Nate, in almost every sentence that he mentioned her, spoke in the present.

That is one thing that struck me in the interviews with KC, her using Caylee in the past tense. A tale tell sign that she had already put Caylee in the past and didn't expect to ever see her again.... *shudder* :nerves:

Tony in the 400 pager used Caylee in the past tense and then corrected himself.

Jesse G. has also done this.

You saved me alot of typing. Tee hee.. Except one other thing. I'm not so sure that was her only option of a place to stay temparly. It was just where she wanted to stay.

She did have a couple dependable friends imo, being JG, and RP, and there was always Kio who wanted a baby anyway. Also Christiana would have helped her. She had options. She didn't have to do what she did. I also believe Cindy didn't kick her out. She told her to fly right, stop stealing or start facing the consquences, but I dont believe Cindy kicked her out. Her myspace doesn't say that. If says they left without warning. jmo

i think that KC asked Tony if she could temporarily live with him. she gave him the whole story about moving in with AH and how everything fell through at the last minute and she needed a place to stay. she had to have told everyone that moving in with AH story, because of the myspace comments, anyone can read them so anyone that was a myspace friend probably knew the moving in story. AH knew where Tony lived, so they had to have contact with each other. tony probably told the other roomies that KC would be staying there temporarily and someone probably said, thats fine, but no caylee. i dont know how big their place was, but that seems like a lot of people staying in one apartment. i think there was a conversation about caylee not staying there.

Scott Peterson had options, Diane Downs had options, Darlene Routier had options...

LOL I'm not even sure I know what I meant

I guess what I'm wondering is, was Casey speaking of the Nanny (not necessarily by the ZFG name) prior to Caylee going missing? And if so, where WAS Caylee really during those times Casey said she was with the nanny??? If Casey had made up the nanny story BECAUSE Caylee was missing, then why would she have spoken of a nanny before Caylee was missing?

I get it. So you think that if she used the Nanny story prior to June 15, then it goes towards premediation? I tend to agree.

I think she did drug Caylee and leave her in the car, especially during the week of 9 june when she had to look after Caylee on her own.

However, I dont think thats what killed Caylee. I think KC knew it was not practical to drug the baby and leave her somewhere 24 hours a day like she wanted too, so KC decided to put her to sleep. I think she came to this decision during the week of the 9th june, on the "mini vacation". Then the big fight on the 15th sealed the deal.

I believe that during that mini vacation week Caylee spent alot of time drugged up in the car while KC was testing the waters at the boys appt. I think by the time the big fight happened she knew damn well Caylee was not welcome to live at TonE's place (either she was told outright or it was heavily implied and she took the hint) and so she took that next step. I wonder if the chloroform searches were done around the time of june 9 just before she took Caylee on the fictious vacation?

I know she had other babysitters before the zanny nanny, I wonder why she didnt just ask one of them to look after Caylee for her while she partied? I suppose it was cheaper for her to just drug the baby up and leave her in the car :( That way she could spend her stolen funds on necessities like booze and groceries for her new friends.

ETA- And even cheaper/less hassle to have her "asleep" forever...

I agree...seems as if the cause of Caylee's death is something just like you are saying senseless and simple and completely avoidable.

Exactly. The simplest solution that fits the facts is usually best.

I agree Cindy didn't kick her out. We know there was a fight the weekend of June 15 and I think Casey was attempting to talk to her mom during the "flurry of calls" late afternoon on June 16.
I think it only LOOKED like Casey and CAylee left without warning since Casey never came back with Caylee. And IMO, the reason for that is because Caylee was left alone in the car the night of June 16 and died in there either that night or the morning of June 17.

Something else that says to me it happened this way is in the interrogation tapes with Casey and LE, when the det. was talking to Casey about painting two pictures of her (Casey).

As the det. described the first picture of Casey as (paraphrasing) "someone who made a terrible mistake, hiding the truth of an accident"...Casey didn't respond. BUT...as he described the other picture (again paraphrasing) as a "cold, calculating monster who did something horrible"...Casey says adamantly, "I'm not." Given those two circumstances, she answers to one. Why is that? If Zenaida took the baby then neither picture was true, so why pick one to answer instead of saying no to both?

IMO, responding to one of those scenarios and not the other is very telling. Bits of truth among the lies. Very clever of that det. to put it to her that way. I believe he used this painting a picture analogy several times throughout the interview in an attempt to get her to crack. Imo, she came close. At the very least, her response gave them a huge clue that points in the direction of the truth.

I think if it had been an accident when Casey was given that out she would have broke. Think how an accidental death would weigh on a conscience.

Wouldn't an accidental death leave anyone rattled for at least for an evening?

I think she doesn't want Caylee found because she is afraid Caylee's body will show it wasn't an accident.

I think Casey tried to call Cindy and George because she was furious with them for whatever they said to her during the fight. I imagine she was even angrier when they didn't pick up the phone. I imagine she was calling her parents to let them know they weren't ever going to get her child, only they didn't pick up the phone to hear.

Can you imagine what Cindy and George would be feeling if that is the case?

IMO

I also think it is telling that something happened to Caylee the very DAY of the fight.

Caylee didn't even survive one night under her mother's custody.

IMO
