That is why I don't understand the term "dating" because it is really "I'm having sex with her and partying with her" more than with any other woman.
Absolutely CaliforniaDreamer. I also put that on another thread. Casey had nowhere to go other than TonE's if she wanted to be "independent" because she was broke and stealing from the very friend who could have provided an alternative.
Well put. I was always doubting, but still holding out hope that somehow/someway there was a ZG who had Caylee. But the fact that Casey had been cornered, by both CA and AL and poor Caylee was in the middle, makes it all crystal clear that it was all about Casey. Casey does what she needs to do at the moment to meet her own needs - lying, stealing, and unfortunately, she upped the ante this time, and her daughter suffered the consequences. Very very sad.
Upped the Ante is right! Like I said recently on another thread here is: She gambled with her daughter's life and lost.
"I can't figure this out on my own. I have been living and breathing this case for 12 long weeks (as Nancy would say). My house is a disaster and I am losing all contact with friends and family, lol."
I could be wrong, but from what I read on there they communicated for a long time before he met her in person so I am assuming he knew full well she had a child.
Men have sex with women and enjoy their company even when they don't see a future.
It doesn't make them good guys.
But, it happens.
You know what really struck me as I listened to a re-run of the Nate interview? After I heard the recording of KC and listened carefully to Nate, I realized something I had missed before. Nate spoke of Caylee in the present tense. She is a smart girl, she loves to play drums, she likes to wake us up.......... KC spoke in the past tense, and all the investigators and legal eagles picked right up on it. But Nate, in almost every sentence that he mentioned her, spoke in the present.

You saved me alot of typing. Tee hee.. Except one other thing. I'm not so sure that was her only option of a place to stay temparly. It was just where she wanted to stay.
She did have a couple dependable friends imo, being JG, and RP, and there was always Kio who wanted a baby anyway. Also Christiana would have helped her. She had options. She didn't have to do what she did. I also believe Cindy didn't kick her out. She told her to fly right, stop stealing or start facing the consquences, but I dont believe Cindy kicked her out. Her myspace doesn't say that. If says they left without warning. jmo
LOL I'm not even sure I know what I meant
I guess what I'm wondering is, was Casey speaking of the Nanny (not necessarily by the ZFG name) prior to Caylee going missing? And if so, where WAS Caylee really during those times Casey said she was with the nanny??? If Casey had made up the nanny story BECAUSE Caylee was missing, then why would she have spoken of a nanny before Caylee was missing?![]()
I agree...seems as if the cause of Caylee's death is something just like you are saying senseless and simple and completely avoidable.

I agree Cindy didn't kick her out. We know there was a fight the weekend of June 15 and I think Casey was attempting to talk to her mom during the "flurry of calls" late afternoon on June 16.
I think it only LOOKED like Casey and CAylee left without warning since Casey never came back with Caylee. And IMO, the reason for that is because Caylee was left alone in the car the night of June 16 and died in there either that night or the morning of June 17.
Something else that says to me it happened this way is in the interrogation tapes with Casey and LE, when the det. was talking to Casey about painting two pictures of her (Casey).
As the det. described the first picture of Casey as (paraphrasing) "someone who made a terrible mistake, hiding the truth of an accident"...Casey didn't respond. BUT...as he described the other picture (again paraphrasing) as a "cold, calculating monster who did something horrible"...Casey says adamantly, "I'm not." Given those two circumstances, she answers to one. Why is that? If Zenaida took the baby then neither picture was true, so why pick one to answer instead of saying no to both?
IMO, responding to one of those scenarios and not the other is very telling. Bits of truth among the lies. Very clever of that det. to put it to her that way. I believe he used this painting a picture analogy several times throughout the interview in an attempt to get her to crack. Imo, she came close. At the very least, her response gave them a huge clue that points in the direction of the truth.
