Wonder if jury was aware they could not have evidence brought into the jury room?
Unless I am mistaken, some states allow all evidence in jury room. Anyone know for sure?

Just remembering from the other NC cases we have watched the jury always has to come into the court room to review the evidence. I can remember in the Hayes/Haze Trial they did also.

I think Florida can bring evidence back to jury room----again I think :dunno:

In all of the NC trials I've seen, evidence is not allowed in the jury deliberating room. IDK why...

In many trials, all of the evidence is gathered & displayed and the jurors are allowed to walk around the courtroom to look at the evidence, after both sides have rested.

Apparently, the evidence is not allowed out of the courtroom.

Each state has its quirky little rules, and some are quirkier than others, from what I've seen. (Not naming any names, but some states, love 'em, are amAZing with their little rules.)

I think you may be correct. I know I have watched trials in recent years where evidence which has been published in courtroom is in the jury room.

Judge told jury he can't tell them how witnesses selected nor would he answer how they weigh absence of witnesses. #LaurenceLovette #wral

There was an important lesson there (from the Judge) for the jury. I hope they digest it and get on a less analytical track...just my opinion.

That's a real Bingo! Chelly -- my thoughts, exactly.... <smh> I hope they heard it the way I (we) think he meant it.

I worry.

How does it look to the jury that TT showed up today and is sitting behind LL the defendant. Does that help in their decision? imo

Yesterday afternoon I thought I heard the jury back in the courtroom and the judge ask the jury if they had elected a foreperson and a youngish (what I thought) female voice replied that she was selected. I hope she keeps this jury focused on what the State presented. I don't want to hear that LL wasn't found guilty tho I am relieved that he has already been found guilty in the murder of Eve.

I understand she may want to show moral support for her friend but I think it would have been wiser for her not to show back up and remind the jury about her awful lack of truthfulness when testifying.
