Does the defendant think that him holding his attorney's chair so that she may reseat herself more easily is going to make the jury think he is a fine, upstanding citizen instead of a wolf in sheep's clothing and really a cold blooded killer?

WRAL is playing the tapes---they say "recess" but it sounds like the tapes....

that's what I'm noticing---just like another day another crime :gaah: no big deal

It's like I said, it's just a different way of viewing life -- incomprehensible to most folks, but it exists, and it's bad, and WTH can be done about it? More education of parents-to-be, spending lots & lots of $$ on kids at risk for gangs, tuff neighborhoods, parents who have too much with which to cope, a cultural thing -- color of skin has NOTHING to do with it -- it's poverty sometimes not always, it transcends income levels but poverty does play a part, too-young parents sometimes, (I am a stark-raving liberal, so don't get me wrong), and so, so many other tangibles & intangibles. It would take several generations, more money than we could ever imagine, and help from taxes, taxes, taxes, and from all levels of private industry, medicine, legal, church, temple, mosques, charities, public & private schools, parents, volunteers, Scouts, Boys & Girls Clubs, athletics, the arts, neighborhood improvement, lots of locally involved LE, and about 100 other things. World involvement. Sociologists, psychologists, and, and, and.

What have we wrought?

Mini-rant over but not done...

forgot to quote Chelly:

What a cast of characters. I am getting everyone mixed up.

I'll be glad to help -- I've watched this stuff a lot (not this case, but the Carson case), Chel.

I'll be outta here soon. Going to see littlest Virginia, our new granddaughter - healthy, fine, 8 pretty pounds. Not yet, but soon. Be back soon -- if we ever get outta here -- DH at an eye appt.

Kisses to all! Justice for Mahato.

Bethea-Shields is taking a risk, IMO, to try to impeach our Shanita -- this will only help her be more thorough. I just hope the jury will see Shanita Love for what she is -- truthful, nothing to gain, only involved at the slightest level, and just trying "because it was the right thing to do," as she said in the Carson courtroom. I stand on that.

I just checked the Durham, Wake & Orange Co. arrest mug shots -- no T.T. Tikoya Maybrey or Atwater (CRS) there.... that's the only counties that I can get to -- but they would be the most likely unless she's really underground....

Fooey.

The life they live is all they know. We become our environment and our role models. We could have been born into this. Would we be the same I wonder.
