Including the time spent in the courtroom reviewing evidence, jurors have been deliberating for more than 6.5 hours. #LaurenceLovette #wral
bbm

Juror's have deliberated longer than 6.5 hrs and have still found the defendant guilty! jmo

Jury wants to take a break. #LaurenceLovette #wral

According to the judge this is the proper way to ask!

Oh brother. So all jury questions must be submitted thru the jury spokesperson?

Agree! Court door noise again...

Either that or all 12 jurors go up to Judges chamber door and knock in unison.

There could have been a trial before all this about something else -- I don't know what, but I don't keep up much with Durham County unless it's something that's been in MSM...

Who knoze, CUCKOOHEAD?? Ain't no tellin' but I'll be glad to read the posts -- subsequent to what? I'd like to dig a little to see if there was another trial, etc., associated with this bunch. Certainly could be...

Tell me where to look, and I'll see if I can search stuff in WRAL or WTVD, and maybe we can find something.

Thanks, Cuckoo-bird!

You know how you asked about a verdict? verdict papers? I thought I heard something from the judge when the jury filed back in too. Same as when I thought the judge said mistrial when mentioning tt and Philip's testimonies.

Stormy's not there anymore now, and her side of the table is cleared. Guess they're prob not expecting much more to happen this afternoon.

I know where you heard mistrial at! You were listening in on my computer when the attorney on the other trial was asking for a mistrial! That has got to be it. LOL j/k :loveyou:

The judge requested the verdict sheet envelope before they took a break. Then when they resumed deliberations, he gave it back. Pretty pristine, this judge, he's tight with everything.

Mistrial?

ahahahahaha that's it! Total recall and zero current comprehension! Makes life very interesting!

PS you should see me play dominoes. I make booboos but no one catches it until about eight other die have been played. You should hear how righteous SOME people get when that happens and try telling them it's ONLY dominoes, it's not nuclear fission we are working on here

Dominoes is only a game, is the way I would look at it. It is all in fun! Some people take their game too seriously. imo

Anyone can mis-hear something, so that is how I looked at the mistrial thing. I thought maybe I just didn't hear the judge.

I think everyone jut needs to chill :chillout: at this point. imo

This jury will come to the correct decision and if they don't convict, I pray it is a mistrial.

Is it us??!!! Are we nutz?? ---> courtroom noises!!

Judge Hardin: "We're in recess till 9:00 tomorrow morning."

The judge just cast a pained look at the jury, IMO. Tired, I guess.

The sound volume in the courtroom is very low...

It's wrapped-up till tomorrow folks.

Anyway, CUCKOO, we'll just let our tender little ears rest for a while.

Verdict tomorrow!!

Pleeeeeze.

My worry meter is up a notch. I guess we've just got a jury that wants to be very thorough and careful.

The story I am going with is the judge with the mouth full of rocks or a serious accent. :)

In any case I thought the State had a strong case with the ATM video and the similarities in MOs between Eve Carson and now this man's killing. I believed Lovett's testimony and did not think she was enriched to the extent that the defense would have us think. She got help with Section 8. Big deal.

I can't say I am not a little worried too, this had slam dunking written all over it.
I guess someone is hung up on something.
You know what really gets me? The Jury is giving Laurence Lovette's life far more consideration and thought than he ever gave to the victims.
I know, defendant's rights and all that.. :(

Mornin' Peeps - The Thundering Heard, aka the jury, is at 12 members, and they have come to the courtroom and His Honor has sent them back to their lair to deliberate.

So we wait....

(((Hugs))) and justice!!
