The Kannapolis Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating Evan Eugene McCree.

Mr. McCree is 55 years old, is approximately 6'1 in height, and weighs approximately 240 pounds.

He was last seen on April 29, 2025 in the area of Esther Circle getting into a blue in color Dodge Charger or Challenger.

His FB Jamar Tate He's lived in that town since at least the early 90's. I found some court records from around that time, larceny, cocaine possession, trepass, some vehicular infractions but he's not had any issues with the law in NC in 20+ years. Court Records | North Carolina Judicial Branch. Looks like he has a son (same name) in the same town, young man with a fiance and a job, the family appears close.

This is worrisome.
