Well, there was mention of her funeral service, but not a word about the suspect. I will continue to keep my ears open. Philamena, please post something if you get word from your relatives here. I will be away from my computer for most of the morning tomorrow. I hope something comes of this very soon! I do wonder why a from Gastonia would make the trek to UNC....quite a distance away.

Look at the backseat between the two headrests. Do you see what looks like an arm in a black sweatshrt resting against the passenger side back door?

There is also in the backseat of the drivers side (through the drivers side back window) in better uncropped pics what looks like the left chest of someone wearing something that has an N, M, H type of letter.

ETA: maybe someone could post the pics with the areas cirlced?

Is it possible that this could be poor Eve? OMG, Im thinking once the money was taken out of her account -- it has already been speculated here that they kept her alive until they were sure they had the correct PIN # -- she was shot in the right temple, im wondering if the guy in the back passengers side shot her ?
Even if that is the case, the driver is still guilty as well, IMO
Senseless, tragic loss ... in reading various articles about her, it seems that she literally touched every single person she encountered in her too short life.

LE has been adamant about not releasing the time of the ATM photos. Eve being with them could be why.

LE has not released the time or location of the ATM photo. The ATM photo was released to other LE agencies Friday evening. Eve was found before dawn Wed and (2) 911 calls came in around 5 AM Wed to report gun shots and a woman screaming. Eve was last seen at 1:30 AM. Her purse and keys have not been found.

Because of the timeline and the size of the individual in the back seat, I'm guessing that's not Eve? It's probably a Crip and the driver is his flunky. JMO.

Persons who are driving alone in an SUV or van seem to be targets for crime especially around gas stations. IMHO.

I think there was also someone directly behind the driver as well. In the original photos released that are not cropped down it looks like someone wearing something with a letter on it.

It looks like an M on a jacket or something similar.

If you look just to the right of the bar that seperates the front and back windows, it looks like a letter or something. Or it could just be reflection on the glass.

I can see it but I can't tell what it is. Looks like a letter to me. Good work SuziQ.

I made the photo the background of my computer, in other words saved it as my wallpaper and that helped me see the picture better. I can make out a M but can't tell if it's on the person's sleeve or if it's a reflection or if it's a sticker on the window.

FWIW, Whoever that is in the back seat imo, is wide, as in big built. Looks like they have on a dark shirt or coat. I thought I could see part of a face right behind the drivers head, on the left side of the headrest, but I think I'm looking too hard. Kinda looks like he's looking to the right.

It's ok. I'm probably just seeing a reflection. However, the other guy in the back seat...At the below link if you compare pics one and two, you can see in pic two he has his elbow resting and his hand on his chin. Looks to me like he's looking out the window to the right.

I flipped the photo and made it full screen. It looks like a M but it kind of reminds me of the NY Yankees logo. But not exactly. There's something above the M. I can't make it out. I'm going to play around with it some more. I think that's a reflection in the ATM photo # 2. But, I'm going to flip that and enlarge it and see what happens...

Yeah, Philomena, I think that M may be a reflection -- in the ATM # 2 photo, it looks like the Eiffel tower and then in photo # 1, the Eiffel tower changes to a M.

It's hard to say -- there is one, possibly 2 people in the back seat?

I wish I had that gizmo Harrison Ford had in Blade Runner. I'm sure that photo expert can make it out?

I guess we'll turn this over to the morning shift!

I must have a horrible computer because I can't see anything in the backseat except maybe the outline of someone's shoulder in the passenger side of the back seat. I did notice the driver's side back seat and I can see the tree in the background through the back glass, so there must not be anyone sitting there.

I even hate to say this, but when you guys were pointing out the M in the back seat...what I was seeing in the lower corner directly behind the driver's seat was a face with a hand covering it partly. What you were saying (I think it is what you were referring to anyway) looks like the shadows between the fingers. I agree the rest of the window does show a reflection of the ATM machine/box.

Oh my! I live 10 minutes away from Gastonia. I am going to watch the 11 oclock news and see what is new! Paid informants help the police all the time, this fellow is going to be in custody soon I bet!

Since this guy knew he was going to be nationwide for killing a coed, maybe he's not from anywhere near NC. As said, he's the stooge, with everything to lose. If local, why not a baclava or stocking mask?? Pieces still don't fit. Did they happen on the most well-known student in NC from bad luck, a contract or incredible stupidity??
