Found in New Orleans! Suspect arrested on a federal kidnapping charge.
Cumberland County teen found, man with her arrested by US Marshals
A Cumberland County teen missing since Feb. 5 was located in New Orleans on Monday and the man who was with her was arrested by U.S. Marshals, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.
According to a Tuesday evening Sheriff's Office news release, Kaitlin Marie Benjamin-Olsen, 19, was located at 10 a.m. by members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Louisiana State Police. She was described by family as having the cognitive ability of a 7-year-old.
"She was taken into protective custody without incident by members of the FBI," the release said.
The man with her, Duncan Thomas Sherrington, 51, was arrested on a federal kidnapping charge, according to Deputy U.S. Marshal Brian Fair, spokesman for the Eastern District of Louisiana, U.S. Marshal Service,
Sherrington is being held in the Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, jail on a U.S. Marshal hold, according to a jail booking officer.
The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said Sherrington, a native of England, has used several aliases including Thomas Johnson and "Chris."

Cumberland County Sheriff Ennis Wright said Special Agent Seth Goodwin of the Social Security Administration's Atlanta Field Division was instrumental during the investigation.
"Benjamin-Olsen is safe and is on her way home to be reunited with her family," the news release said. "The investigation was turned over to the FBI after Sherrington left the state with Benjamin-Olsen."
