Found Deceased NC - Clinton "Clint" Bonnell 50, Green Beret, Gray's Creek area, car at home in Fayetteville, 27 Jan 2025 *Arrest*

I wonder if the dismemberment serves the purpose of ease of transportation too: moving between point A and point B with body parts in separate bags is probably less obvious and easier than moving around a whole body.

All MOO.
I'm thinking alone the same line as yourself.

Was either done because they couldn't move his body as a whole or as to not draw attention when removing a body.

Other scenarios, dismemberment took longer than expected and they ran out of time or they encountered car trouble.

All moo

I think it is 25CV003141-250

;-)

If I understood the papers correctly, his wife is suing his parents for control of his assets (an SUV, a truck, a single bank account, and a residential property), or at least she wants these assets out of their hands until Clint’s disappearance is solved.

Cannot for the life of me figure out how to determine the admins of this Facebook page, so have self-reported this post to hopefully have someone verify, as I believe it was created by Clint’s sister- Find Clint Bonnell
As far as I can tell using my admittedly limited FB skills, it's the sister posting and so is approved.

Missing Cumberland County Green Beret Clint Bonnell planned to divorce his wife before disappearance
Bonnell’s girlfriend, who works near the gym, told deputies he went to an attorney that day to discuss filing for a divorce. He then visited her workplace to discuss the conversation he had with the attorney before going to Methodist University to study. In court papers, she said Bonnell texted her that night after he returned home. According to her, he said he told his wife about the divorce and that he was going to bed.

On Jan. 28, after he missed classes and could not be reached, both Methodist University and his girlfriend requested well-being checks on Bonnell.

Deputies said his wife declined to file a missing person report at that time. An incident report listing Bonnell as missing was completed by his girlfriend.

On Jan. 31, Cumberland County investigators returned to Bonnell’s home and found his bookbag and laptop. Both had projectile damage, suggesting Bonnell might have been harmed.

Cumberland County investigators met with Virginia State Police on Feb. 1 to execute a search warrant on Bonnell’s wife and her pickup truck in Troy, Va. Deputies seized her cell phone. The search warrant affidavit said she admitted at this point she had a confrontation with Bonnell over a note from his girlfriend.
