Her vehicle was found minutes from a Goodwill. It looks like it may have been in a parking lot of smaller businesses, like Starbucks, yogurt place, etc. I'm surprised it wasn't located sooner, so I wonder if it was recently put there.
. I don't think it's random, and I wonder if there is a flea market connection.

This is absolutely terrible. My condolences to the family and friends of Nia. May she rest in peace. I hope this brings closure and the loved ones can begin to heal.

So she was last seen on camera leaving goodwill and her vehicle was found parked nearby. Maybe this was a crime of opportunity. Perhaps HM saw her come out of goodwill alone, distracted while putting things into her vehicle. He saw her as an easy target.

On the other hand i could see this being a stalker type situation. Maybe Nia rejected him at some point. It will be interesting to see if there was a prior connection between the two.

That parking lot is pretty crowded at that time of the day. Goodwill shares a parking lot with IHOP, Jimmy Johns and I think a couple other things. There's also an expensive child care center on the other side of the parking lot. IMO, it would've been difficult for him to grab her in the parking lot without anyone seeing. He definitely could've followed her from there, though. I wish we knew if they were acquainted or not.

As many times as I've been to that Goodwill alone, I'd really like to think this wasn't a stranger abduction and murder that originated there.
