I don't think that Facebook plays any part in this case.

I do wonder though about the abandoned house on the property by the lake.

??? Is it know FOR SURE that her husband was in Florida early Sat am? I am NOT trying to implicate an innocent man, but my GUT says she was "spooked" because she saw HIS car when she didn't expect it...got out of the car so hubby wouldn't see her arriving with another man and txtd that she was home "safe" before she entered the home????
I guess the RSO could have done it but why would he place himself as the last person to see her KNOWING he would be suspect #1?

Poor hubby! I just HAVE to know his alibi is rock solid before I can move to another suspect!
She may have been small but how would a stranger know her "fighting" skills?
They are taught ways to escape attacks in the military... I would hope she could out wit an attack by a stranger. I know that doesn't always happen...
Maybe the RSO knew she was alone for the weekend?

My prayers are with her and her family!

Not so sure about the texts. It appears that the US Army Official is the one reporting 2 texts sent:

"The soldier, 23, left the Froggy Bottoms bar early Saturday, police have said. The GI had been drinking and was given a ride home by a bar employee, according to a U.S. Army official who spoke on condition of anonymity.

At some point, the Army official said, Bordeaux sent two text messages. One said, "got home safely." The official did not know who the text was sent to or the contents of the second text message.'

So, either Kelli did make it into her apartment and sent the text, sent the text while walking to her place but never made it, or the killer sent it. If it was the latter, they may have seen a text from someone saying let me know when you get home - so, they sent the text to that person. There is a 2nd text, that no one is commenting on in regards to message and who sent to...
Or whoever told the Army official the information was misinformed themself. Maybe he husband relayed info LE shared or her mother to the official.
An official in charge of Kelli and in the loop would most likey not be speaking on the condition of anonymity. JMO
Kelling was reportly seen texting in the bar (NH) So the officer could have said ''hey Kelli was said to have been texting did you get a text?'' and is then questioned about her supposedly having texted she was home safe ,doesnt mean she did text it just that it was being followed up on .

well, you can bet your bottom dollar they are going to want to find out:

1) did other people see NH leave the bar? What direction did he turn when he pulled out? I notice there is a bank to the right (not direction of her apartment) and some articles say that they are pulling area surv. video

2) what time did he get back to the bar from dropping her off? did he camp behind the bar that night? was his car parked there all night? did he leave again early that morning for any reason? what was he up to on Sunday and up until the time she was reported missing?

just throwing some thoughts around

also wondering if they have searched every single apartment in the complex and the woods surrounding it (still shell shocked from the Jorelys Rivera case).. if she WAS dropped off there, that is...

me personally: I think they know a lot more than we know about or we would see them scouring the woods near her apartments as well: no way they could clear that huge wooded area so quickly imhoo

Kelli was on her phone at the bar, but the term "a lot" is a matter of opinion. It really depends how much the observer uses their own phone. The majority of her night was spent chatting, playing pool, and singing.

If Nick pulled on to 295 there would have been no cameras to capture that. The entrance for Froggy's is exactly where the exit lane for 295 starts.

From a news report I read, they had over 50 soldiers searching the areas. It has not been mentioned if they searched the area by her apartment. However, the entire side of Ramsey Street in which her apartment complex was on (the southbound side) was covered with police and military vehicles on Tuesday by Kings Grant.

VOH910...in your opinion, do you think this will be solved?

I am just now coming to catch up on this case so this may have already been discussed but......

I just read two conflicting news articles. One the bar employee says she had him drop her off at the entrance..........then in another article it said he drove her to and from the bar picking her up at her aparment. So which one is the truth?

If the one saying he picked her up and then took her home is factual then he has a big big problem with lying.

Of all people to get a ride with.....a SO of all people. (sigh)

IMO

I dont know which one is true ,but I decided to cut and paste different lines of the article together to see if there was a hidden message. Maybe I could print them out cut then up and try to read them like some people try to read tea leafs.

I will be floored if He has nothing to do with this.

Is it possible that she called him and told him: I need a ride to the bar?

just thinking out loud.

Yes. One way or another. The police certainly know a lot more than we all do.

I am wondering... what the heck could be on a pair of khaki pants to lead them to the pond they are searching?
If the pants were wet, could an analysis of the water lead them to a specific pond?

andalso: I was wondering this as well (pants and pond connection)

that being said the more recent reports say that the pond lead was via tip to the hotline (I just linked upstream)

is it possible a sighting of NH near the pond in question wearing pants is a possibility? or.. is this a fishing spot? could he have told someone: hey, I am going fishing at the pond and was dressed in said pants?

I am also very curious if someone put something in her drink (he said that she told him she was "tired" and "wanted to go home")... I could see this happening as well.

It has been said in news articles that the tip for the pond came from the tip hotline.

There are a # of houses on Dobbin-Holmes road, I wonder if any of them have cameras that caught something....
Also, what kind of rr tracks are those? Could a train have gone by and a conductor or passenger saw something and called in tip?
Just thinking out loud!

IMO, I don't think she would be 'spooked' if she saw that her husband was at the apartment. I would think she would say she was "busted or F*%$#'d", but I don't think spooked would be the word.
