which girls?

Up in Muckrucker's post - the missing girls who all look alike - to include Holly Bobo, a case I've been following too.
I'm literally shaking right now - in my mind (bones) these just have to be related to each other. Have any of the bodies ever been found?

He would have to scope them over the Internet.

just throwing my two cents here:
I think whomever took Kelli knew her and it was an isolated incident (I do agree with the Fay. Ob. on that)

just moo though (but I do agree that all of those missing girls do bear an uncanny resemblance)

Muckrucker, is the FBI in charge of this?

Thanks for the direction to post #47. I saw that post, but didn't put two and two together when it was asked if they had any mutual friends on FB. I thought perhaps I had missed the mention of another girl being brought into this case.

All of that said... the girls all do look strikingly similar. However, that is such a desirable appearance. Blond hair, petite, pretty. I hate to sound stereotypical. I wonder how many girls would show up in a search if the characteristics were changed. How many women with brown hair and of average stature are missing in the same vicinity? Is anyone following me?

I hate to think there is a psycho on the loose snatching up pretty girls just based on their hair color and build.

Yep, concur, Bee. Def feels like Kelli's abductor was a known entity.

Just tossed it out there to highlight just how many are missing regionally that might not be isolated cases. The other missing women certainly do share many similarities.

Your two cents always worthwhile. Wondering what you'll come up with if we throw nickels at you? I promise I won't use wooden ones. :woohoo:

I've been pondering that as my own version of Theory #3, Law.

I've been bouncing around multiple scenarios in which Hubby might have been involved, even if his alibi holds up. BUT, have been hoping that doesn't surface for selfish reasons. Wouldn't it be decent to have an innocent SO for a change? Not that it would make his victimization and more pleasant, but it would renew a little faith in relationships when people go missing. Just once, I'd like not to suspect the spouse first, KWIM?

That said, I can indeed think of multiple plot lines that involve Mike & Nick colluding, and others in which Mike acted alone.

Crap.

Unfortunately, I'm not feeling optimisitic that Kelli will be found safely and quickly no matter which theory I run with at any given time. :banghead:

I just feel that NH really is involved. Could he have been in cahoots with the husband? It is a possibility, IMO. The husband could have been in Fla., but that doesn't preclude him having made a deal with NH.

BBM: While it would be nice not to suspect the spouse first, it is usually who LE looks at in the very beginning. If LE can clear the spouse, then they work from the inner circle out. (btw, I know you know this, lol!)

In Kelli's case, I think LE would have to first look at the person she went to the bar with, then the spouse. I don't think LE has even come close to clearing NH. What was he wearing that night?

Means, motive, and opportunity. NH certainly had the means to disappear Kelli. Motive? Maybe Kelly brushed/fought off a sexual advance from him. She is very small of stature. Opportunity? Obviously. I do not buy that NH let her off within a block of her apartment complex.

As far as motive would be for the husband; there is hefty insurance on the military. IIRC, somewhere in the neighborhood of $250,000, and around $400,000 on a deployed service member.

Some things I would like to know are:
1.) Was there a vehicle parked at the complex that night with Florida tags that no one recognized?

2.) Was the husband seen at Froggy Bottoms without Kelli prior to her dissappearing?

3.) Was there a male biker stranger in the bar the Friday night Kelli dissappeared? Was he between 55 & 60 years old? Was it the guy that came in recently and was asked to leave because he was asking everyone questions?

4.) Last and most important: WTH IS KELLI????

:moo:

Nope. I think that was Bill Werner's point. He'd like to see some involvement from the FBI, but that isn't likely to happen unless the cases can be linked with something more concrete than just similarities in appearance.

Which is why WOE was asking about the possibility of common friends of their facbooks, which is a very good idea.

A bit of a disclaimer. I have been busy all day so I haven't checked in since early evening yesterday. So if I ask dumb questions, please excuse me.

ClaireNC, there is no such thing as a dumb question here!! If there was, I'd have to be being excused all day every day!

While I think Bill Warner might be on to something with some of the other cases, I don't think Kelli necessarily fits the profile. (NH and MB are better suspects.) On the other hand, Fayetteville, NC is close to the highway and could be a place that am evil trucker would turn up, looking for his next victim.

Which is good that your theory is beginning to solidify, because there is a sub-text in there about theory number two. It peeks through in relation to alibis, false/incorrect media reporting of police statements, and certain comments that go unthanked.

But then again, Imma justa guessin' again. ;)

I'm on board with theory #1, but if I'm right about your choice for theory #2, then that will shock me if it pans out to be true.

How about some fodder for theory #3? Check out this map of *9* petite blonde young women missing in your region area covering several area states:

missing+girls+map.jpg

Not a fan of PI blogs of this type as a rule, but if you scroll down on his post, it is of real interest that many of these petite, pretty women went missing in the early hours of the night.

Even without misleading reports, I'm still leaning towards Nick's involvement and probable ultimate responsibility for whatever happened to Kelli, but this article & map did raise my eyebrows.

Myrtle Beach, SC is just over two hours from Fayetteville and that's where Brittanee Drexel is missing from. It will be three years this coming week that she's been missing. She is of the same size as many of these girls and had blonde hair at the time of her disappearance.

VOH- Last night, you mentioned that a man entered the bar stating he was KB father, but posters on here said her father had passed from cancer.. was he legit? What do the bar regulars think happened?

  • #117
Just checked to see if there was any good news about Kelli. Disheartening to see about the petite, blond women missing. Let's still hope for a good outcome.

  • #118
I think that is everyone's question but nothing has been put forth by LE or the MSM to figure that out.

Maybe she waited for him by the entrance when he picked her up?

It seems that right now all we know is what he said which.. well.... I used to live by the Morton Salt plant when I was growing up (wink)
I just keep having a problem with how far the entrance is from the apt.If she is going to walk all the way to the entrance why not just walk to the bar. What is it a 20 min. walk?Someone posted their is a second entrance but I do not see it on the map.Is that true?

By the way:

I have a compiled list of the over 19,000 offenders in North Carolina in my database. Should I start a thread in getting across my idea in how Websleuths can help with a project? My own program only id's by name, but doesn't actually access the FB sites (I have to do that manually). To that end, what I need are people who would help me with the project to identify every name on the list with a potential social networking page. Rather than call LE right away, what I'd like to do is to provide a complete documentation audit trail that would tie in the offender with the site. Once we have the complete list, Websleuths can approach NC media with the information and see if we can get a feature story or investigative reporter to help get the message out.

My recommendation is that the reporter work in conjunction with HIS LE sources, so this would become a legitimate process. In this case, it would immediately inform the public of the presence of verified offenders, and LE would HAVE to take it seriously and arrest / charge / hold for high bail all the RSO's with a social networking site.

What do you think? And if this is a good idea, how to start a thread to this effect?

Always a good idea Todd and thank-you for your work. I'm going to lead you to a forum here which deals alot with what your asking. Link below

Crimes-Spotlight on Children

Here's a thread of an offender from NC from a few months ago, check out the names this guy used. Check out this guys use of the internet to use against children. I think this guys alias pages have been deleted but you can see how good some members are at sleuthing at times.

NC. Child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 arrest and assistance requested with I.D.

Also Missizzy has done some awesome reporting work but she's not as active as she once was. Hope that helps what your looking for.

Everyone at the bar that night was a regular - except Kelli - she was considered a "frequenter" but was becoming a regular.
I am just wondering how did she get home all of these other nights?Who was she with?
