What strikes me as strange about her going their with this guy is this.I was in the military at her age and one thing that was good is you had so many people your own age to go out with. Then I looked at the date friday the 14th.That would make it the military's payday(you get payed twice a month).Payday coming on a friday means practically everyone not on duty was making plans to go out that night. There was probably 25 different people she worked with she could have made plans with or called so why this guy.

It's possible she figured other friends from work would be there, too? Sounds like at least one of her friends has been there before to play pool. VOH stated that she'd been there frequently before, and was becoming a regular, so more than likely she does have other friends who go there, too, and has probably made acquaintance with some of the other regulars. Travelling in the same car doesn't necessarily mean that Nick was the only person she planned to visit with and chat with that night.

I'm still leaning towards the thought that Kelli just figured she and Nick would hang at Froggy's - not like a 'date', but just going out for a few brew on a Friday night, and likely meeting others there. I also think that Nick had 'date' designs in mind from the get-go, though. :banghead:

Well, the word is that NH was back at the bar within 10 to 15 minutes after dropping off Kelli.

Oooooooook, and hmmmmm. I'm still riding that fence. How did you get wind of this info? If you can say that is.

I missed this? Whose word? :seeya:

I try not to get tunnel visioned and keep my options open but NH is in the lead ATM. Just a hunch here but because of NH previous living in a vacant house I'm wondering if there's any way to identify and look at other vacant houses in that area. I also think it would be good if locals would search their own lands and buildings when someone goes missing. I'm just talking out loud and fairly rhetorical. I'd also like Ft. Bragg to gather up for a few searches.

Would NH mislead anyone? Lets see, he didn't have a current address. He's been allegedly accused of an altered registration and I think fictitious tags. So IMO he has the propensity to mislead.

I think that is something that is going to make this case difficult if he is responsible.I get the feeling this guy spent sometime checking on remote out of the way places to stay.

Yeah, if that freaks you out, you really should read this WS thread about a dungeon found in an abandoned house in Ontario. All outfitted with chains and ready to go for kidnapping & torture. They did eventually arrest a perp for it, but this thread will give you nightmares as is. Add to that the thought of someone like Nickie Boy being industrious enough to prepare a place in advance - and this one will give you goosebumps.

Do we know what time Kelli & NH got to Froggy Bottom?
Do we know of any other bars where Kelli frequented with friends or co workers?

Maybe this is where she met NH that evening and then went ahead to Froggys.

To only have a bar bill of 28 dollars after a several hours of drinking is cheap! I am thinking she got warmed up somewhere else and landed at Froggys later on. Its close to home, has pool tables and it sounds like an interesting crowd.

Grrrr. I detest when someone just drops a bomb shell and just leaves.

I am going to say something here that will not be well received. Was Kelli at the bar to actually meet up with maybe a higher ranking soldier than herself? Maybe someone she met at work on post, or someone from post? This happens quite a lot, IMO, and from what I have heard. People are attracted to each other, yet it is against the rules to date or get involved with a higher ranking person. It does happen.

Was NH a cover for the transportation to and from the bar? Who did Kelli give most of her attention to at the bar? Maybe NH did not realize that and thought Kelli was actually more of a 'date' than she really was? Did NH drop her off to meet with this other person?

About the only thing I believe to the bottom of my heart is that it did not happen the way NH said it did.

IDK, but something is way off here! Either NH made advances and he killed her, or I believe Kelli was to meet someone else after leaving the bar, IMO. I am more torn than ever over this scenario.

I know, nurse. I should have made myself more clear although I did state 'from work' also.

Yes he did say nick wasnt drinking!
He probably didnt have money!

Since no one knew that Nick didn't have money, maybe the reason why the tab wasn't paid for is because Nick acted as though he was paying for the bill to impress Kelli. That could be why their tab was together. But he left without paying when Kelli wasn't paying attention because he has no job and no money.

I disagree but that is just :moo:

the media is all over it anytime anyone lawyers up:twocents:

(it is also just my opinion that he has nothing to do with this):moo:

I agree nurse. However I do believe that Kelli had another male friend. The one that NH was talking about and I do not believe it was her husband.

I tried to find source for WB post.. found this in Orlando Sentinel 4/20:

"Holbert, 25, has been described as a bar-hand at Froggy Bottoms but a man who identified himself as the owner said Holbert was a regular —not an employee. He said the man never drank, was quiet and came into the bar to shoot pool.

The Froggy Bottoms owner said Holbert lived in a tent behind the bar. Many witnesses saw the man leave the bar with Boredeaux the night she disappeared but he returned in "less than 10 minutes."

Holbert told a local television station in North Carolina that he was at the bar and gave Bordeaux a ride home. He said he dropped her off at the entrance of her neighborhood, according to ABC News 11 in Fayetteville. Bordeaux was reported missing by Fort Bragg when she failed report to work on Monday. She joined the United States Army in April 2011, family said.

Bordeaux told her family that she had planned to drink Friday night and had arranged to have friends take her home, her mother Johnna Henson said."

Would you ask Mr. nurse if it would be against the rules if the higher ranking person were married? I know OF someone who did get in trouble for that.

Thanks, and please know that I wasn't trying to be difficult!
