Remember - the prosecutors are less likely to leak out what they know - the defense attorneys go nuts with trying to influence the media right from the start - the prosecutor has to be a bit more careful.
Just a few days ago, it was the photos that proved the crime couldn't have happened, that there was only 7 minutes unaccounted for... then once we got some more info, turns out there's a 27 minute gap, and everything is compatible with the victim's story again... However much you can't trust prosecutors, defense attorneys are far, far less reliable in my experience.
