NC vs. Raven Abaroa ~ the Trial 3

He keeps asking questions of The Defendant. (Like he'll get answers).

This guy was probably high when he was living with them.

So basically he's a liar like Raven lol - he tells people he was a professional soccer player. I WAS A WITNESS WITH HIM - roflmao!!!

OMG - this guy took the cake, probably quite literally, or the cake is a lie!

This young man represents the LDS church so much better than Raven and the last witness.

this dude's verbiage seems very rehearsed.

"they were happy, in love" "I was such an impressed 14 year old" "Janet rubbed his back while he held her hand"

Is it just me or does he sorta look high? (Something weird about his eyes, to me).

Did NOT like the previous witness at all. He seemed cocky, and by the way, that sporting equipment he bought from Raven, was it ever discovered if it was stolen merchandise or not? Just curious. :banghead:

This guy could have seen a happy couple ... this was Fredericksburg, VA ... which would have been the very early days of Raven and Janet's marriage. Very early days. All this 'proves' is that they were a happy couple at the start. Proves nothing in the five or so years since he saw them acting like that.

Janet had a JUNKER....

Raven had the really nice bike, the Ducati,

He had the Vehicross VX - it was new a "neat vehicle"

and this guy bought the White Jeep.

Janet had the junker!!! SWEET GOOGILY MOOGILY. Raven and his toys and gadgets and toys etc.

What a prince, 'eh? Back in the old days, my husband always made sure I had the more reliable car we could afford. Either because it was me who ferried the kids around, or simply because he was a guy. If it broke down, either he could try to make it go, or because hubby wouldn't have been in the same sort of danger for lack of a better word, as a stranded young female *could* be. Again, :banghead:

These witnesses are testifying to R & J's relationship when they were newlyweds. I used to hold hands with my husband and we acted all lovey-dovey too right after we were married. The prosecution needs to hammer home in closing how the marriage deteriorated and bring back all the facts regarding his infidelities.

He seems like a bit of a sheltered boy who looks up to Raven. Raven can be quite charming when he wants to be. It's good that at least one person was influenced positively by Raven & Janet. Luckily he never had to see the bad side of Raven, like others and Janet did.

It would appear Raven 'practiced his love' on numerous other females too. :blushing:

'Raven was completely broken up'. Wonder if he 'fell down to his knees wailing' like Jason Young did?

The hero worship on this guy's face sort of makes my heart ache.

  • #633
It bothers me that he's sterilizing things by calling it an "Incident" it was a murder, not an incident.

Raven went to SVU for one semester...ONE semester, it was Janet that went to SVU.

I was just thinking the same thing. I don't know if Raven had peopled fooled way back then or if it was something he gradually learned to do. I hope and pray this young man who is testifying now will know, in his heart, the truth regardless of the outcome of this trial. I do not want him idolizing RA another moment of his life. I don't even want Raven in this guy's life, ever again, as he will ruin it with his darkness.

:floorlaugh: yes, old Gerald..."he fell plum to his knees"

Derail: Mani Dexter makes me think of Julia Roberts ... I have to remind myself she's no Erin Brokavich.

Everybody thought scott Peterson worshiped his wife Laci too. Did this guy just saw he wasn't shocked to hear the kind of *troubles* Raven & Janet had in their marriage? That's kind of unbelievable to me. If they were such a happy, great couple, why wouldn't this innocent looking kid be shocked to discover Raven played around on his wife? Doesn't jibe with me. Maybe I'm just too old to understand young relationships these days. Not saying it would shock me to discover someone cheated, but it would shock me if this was a couple I *admired* for their closeness.

If he had a positive influence on this kid, then so be it. The boy seems like a decent fellow (certainly he cherished that Janet and Raven thought highly of him, since I'm sure that in such a large family he may have felt lost in the day to day shuffle of things). If being around Raven and Janet taught him what he's looking for in his future (how to raise kids, how he wants to treat his wife) then that's a good thing. (Provided he has little to no contact with R. from here on out).

This woman has been at the trial daily since the beginning. She's the one that brought all the kids and I think the baby is her grandchild.

I'm glad they are talking about the great parenting skills. Raven went through so many women since Janet's murder that he taught Kaiden that each new woman in his life was going to be his new mommy.

Mani reminds me of a character in the Wizard of Oz, definitely not Julia Roberts lol
