NC vs. Raven Abaroa ~ the Trial

Anyone know much about this prosecutor? Does she have a good track record?

Hellooooooooooooooo anyone here?

Got the name I was asking about yesterday. He is an advocate for Janet's family. Bless him.

When were these pics taken? Is there snow on the ground in the pics. April 26 happens to be our wedding anniversary. What a horrible day for Janet and her babe.

No snow in April in this part of NC -- should never (!) happen. I don't even know if there is ever snow in the NC mountains that time of year... Again, the investigator spoke of pollen all over the front porch -- that's from the NC pine & oak trees blossoming. Our azaleas, dogwoods & all types of shrubs & flowers are blooming. 60--75 degree days. Other than that awful allergy-provoking pollen, it's a great time of spring & warmish days.

That's what made me think the pix were taken on a different date. Or maybe it wasn't snow that I was seeing?

It sounded to me like they'll try to make a case that an unknown person whose DNA was found in blood on the door killed Janet. He said K-9's tracked to the creek where LE found a coin.

Coins had been stolen from the neighbor's car ("penny change"). So yeah, a neighborhood coin thief probably killed Janet.

Anyway, that's what I gleaned from the defense opening and yesterday's testimony.

Good to hear, they've solved it then. :banghead: :please: :drumroll:

And they want the fingerprints (exhibit #22 on the closet doors in the den) to match the DNA that was mixed with Janet's blood on the side door.
That's their "proof" of the phantom killer.

Dudes. I don't want to see crime scene photos. :(

The WRAL/WTVD courtroom filming folks are not allowed to show or to even photograph those scenes. They are very strict about that. So you should not see anything even a bit close to the body or of the blood in the murder room, etc. They have to be very careful, and they are.

Pretty sure Raven told one of the police officers that he "didn't think" he had locked the door when he left. How convenient.

What a prince he is! With all the supposed robberies, break-ins, in the neighborhood, he went off a left his wife & baby, alone, at night, without locking the doors.

I don't know very much, if anything at all, about the Durham County Prosecutors. And there has been such a shake-up over there due to the quick departure of the once-chief prosecutor.

Maybe another local does...

Had it been raining that day? I thought I'd heard that somewhere, but now I'm unsure?

I don't know much about the Durham DA's either, but I'm not fond of Orlando Hudson.

I remember there was much delay because of this.

Thank the Gods for this. I deem it unnecessary.

:seeya: Waving to so many good friends once again, good to see you all. Having trouble trying to follow both this one & Shaniya Davis at the same time. :banghead: I don't multi-task well anymore. :please:

Hi gracielee. Is the McNeill trial being broadcast also? Just curious. I'm trying to keep my head buried in the sand about that case. It's unbearable to think about for me.
