I'm guessing she was part of a goth/vampire/fairy group/family. I've heard bits and pieces about it but would love to get your views.

I 'm sorry I failed to reply to this in particular. Yes, indeed there can be an entire Sim dedicated to nothing but vampires, fairies or... BDSM. This means an island dedicate to JUST that, which could hold 100's of avatars (people) interacting.

And yes there are "families" of various types that get married, divorces, ect just as in real life... Some take thier virtual world very seriously. I am sure that this is where this woman lived out her "GOTH" lifestyle. It's a shame she couldn't leave it there IMHO

I have seen Second Life ruin MANY real life marriages in just 3 short years of being there. Good for me that I am only there to design and explore

In reference to the question about dogs and how long it takes. We are talking minutes. A body starts to decompose at the moment of death.

Idk if they took the cadaver dogs to the mhp.. anyone know?

Would the dogs still hit on the dumpster if it had been emptied?

I am no expert, but I think they would still detect it. They don't clean dumpsters very often and any smell would likely still be there for a long, long time. IMO

I am still wondering why they would circle the cars about the wood pile in the back? Its a moot point whether or not it was a vigil or a memorial. Why circle a wood pile? Does anyone know if this is the same wood pile that was on fire?

It appears as thought the entire back of that property is a series of wood piles. Remember it is owned by someone in the tree removal business and his employee was living there. There is a wood chipper on site. I don't think there was any significance to a certain wood pile. I think they were just parked "amongst the wood piles" back there.

Then they did the same thing with the cars around a tree in the front. JMO but I find that very strange for a vigil. But its clear they weren't just parked around the wood piles.

FWIW, semantically they were not circled "around the wood pile". This article says they were "near the wood piles".

They formed a ring with their vehicles near the wood piles outside the home and some could be seen writing on pieces of paper while others wrote on balloons.

So true. I feel sorry for her older children if she is the one to blame here. She'll be dragging them down with her in utter horror and embarrassment just like Drew Peterson is doing to MANY families. (my opinion)

That's why I was asking if the "ring they formed with their vehicles" could have been around where the mulch pile fire was. I apologize, maybe I wasn't clear enough, its just that we know there was a fire in that backyard and that was a catalyst for this whole thing being blown wide open. It was also reported early on that they found clothes in that fire pile.

And again, jmo I find it very odd they would "form a ring with their vehicles" not once but twice - especially for a vigil.

Just one last thing... I think many people don't realize that these are not "chat rooms". In these virtual worlds you are a not a flat stationary avatar. While you can chat with the people in a chat box while you are lookign at them or dancing (or opt to use voice instead) each person is in fact a 3d walking anatomically correct individual. So the 'shenanigans' that go on, on the adult sims also completely assimilate real life sex acts, when being performed in the virtual world.
