This is what Tara said on JVM..We talked to family members today by the way, they said that Elisa Baker the stepmother was a well known drug dealer, she was selling drugs to the members of the family. We had one family member say they bought drugs from her and that she said, Brittany Bentley said, people didn't believe her about what was happening to Zahra, because she had a drug problem.

I knew one girl once who admitted to trying it and she described it as tasting and smelling like a mouthful of the worst rotten garbage you could ever imagine.

I don't know if thats true or not but if it is, why in the name of heaven would you ever go back for the second hit???

Not sure why anyone would go back for a second hit (or a first, for that matter.)
My understanding is that the rush is so instant.

As for the smelling/tasting like cat pee- that's the ammonia- and commercial fertilizer smells/tastes the same.

Its like crack - its almost instantly addicting. Maybe your friend is very strong willed and just did the one hit. Real addicts will sit down and smoke quite a bit - even the first time) - and once you're hooked, you're hooked. I don't understand it either - but have seen it ruin many many many lives.

actually her drug of choice was crack, but her "person" didn't have that and offered her the other instead. She disappeared for three days leaving me with her daughter on that one.

I haven't seen her in years and when I last did she seemed to be on track but who knows, you can never really tell with addicts. They are consumate liars. Like breathing for us. open mouth, lies spill out.

I absolutely refuse to watch Nancy Grace. I've never watched her show, and the first time her existence came to my attention was when I saw a YouTube clip of her "interview" with Elizabeth Smart. I'll never quite forgive Ed Smart (who was watching/listening from the wings) for not running out and strangling NG on the spot. Studio must've had burly security guards restraining him. NG was engaging in absolutely vile harassment of a young rape victim, in pursuit of her beloved ratings, which is clearly the *only* thing she really cares about. I seriously think she's thrilled every time a new horrible murder or child disappearance hits the news, the more horrible the better, because each one is an opportunity for her to spout more tabloidy garbage and win the ratings game again.

I've been reading about the mobile meth labs for quite some time now. Maybe that's why they tried to burn the SUV or doused it in gas. Crack or meth are the most common drugs associated with violence of this extent.

Meth can be incredibly addicting. It depends on the chemicals used as to how hard it is to get off of it.

I heard that coming down off of it is so bad, that people do another hit to avoid coming off of it.

Hickory, N.C. - As authorities in Hickory continue trying to solve the disappearance of a disabled Hickory girl whose mother appeared in court Wednesday on an obstruction charge, they've been focusing on sites familiar to her family.

Late Wednesday afternoon, WBTV reported that crews shifted their focus in the search for 10-year-old Zahra Baker to a small pond on property in Burke County. The land has been the worksite of Baker's father.

Several sheriff's vehicles and fire trucks sped to the search site just before 6 pm Wednesday. They were planning to drain the pond on the property.
