Yup, she stated it on the radio show.

Mmmmhm mmmmhm mmmmhm Patty here we go then.

Just another layer to the onion of dysfunction of the family that surrounded this child.

Seems to always be one type of dysfunction or another in murdered children cases. <sigh> JMHO.

Seems to me Brit and her Mom would be better off AVOIDING the interviews....

I thought he lived with his father after the split. That must have been many years ago. He likely doesn't have much contact with EB if any at all.

MOO

Which is further evidence to suggest he's more sensible than his siblings and other relatives who've chosen to remain chummy with her . . .

I'm so mad at the whole lot of these people!!! Drugs were/are more important than a beautiful child. :furious:

I agree about dad taking a LDT, I said the other day I oped he would. But would the charges he had pending prevent him from testing truthful? I just wonder if it would be difficult to test him since he would probably not want to incriminate himself on the other charges..

But on a positive note he hasn't Lawyer-ed up yet.

I did find that kind of odd, the rest of the family is throwing EB under the bus and he's not saying anything "until all the evidence is in" could it be he's trying not to implicate himself? :footinmouth:

He is EB's son... maybe despite all the evidence he still doesn't want to believe that his mother is capable of murdering Zahra?

No kidding huh? I agree.

Off topic but if I ever stumble across a deceased individual while out and about, or I end up in the future having direct knowledge of a crime (any crime). I will never EVAH speak to the media, not after reading here on WS LOL.

I'll go to LE and tell everything I know, I'll report that body anonymously but you can betcha sweet bippy I wouldn't open my mouth to the media. ~and I don't have any skeletons in my closet that I wouldn't admit too either JMHO

Can anyone say what type of soil is in the area? Clay, loam, sandy, etc? And how hard it would be to dig? The soil under the chip/wood pile would be like butter if that pile has been there a long time. Like nice compost. It looks black from the vid. But I was wondering in general, the soil in the area. Thx.

This area is mostly clay with some sandy areas near the rivers/lakes. The clay is very difficult to dig.

BBM: Maybe DSS didn't believe them either, and their reports of Zahra's abuse were not taken seriously???? :furious:
That doesn't matter. When a report is made someone has to go out and check it out. Now EB could have "charmed" anyone who came out and we've already heard that Zahra wouldn't speak so who knows?

Very possible- but have you listened to these people? can you really blame DSS for not taking them seriously?
I am not sure I would believe these people if they told me the sky was blue.

Seems to me you are right and also, that I for one would be better off AVOIDING any further interviews with them in it. This entire extended family, with the possible exception of the step-brother, makes my skin crawl worse than the Anthonys...can't believe I just wrote that. I need a shower. UGH.

She didn't need to "charm" anyone- if they went to the house and the house was livable, there was food in the fridge and the child had no injuries and showed no fear, there is nothing they can do.

11:30 today, 10/14:

The father of Zahra Baker, the missing North Carolina girl, is not cooperating with police in the investigation into the 10-year-old's disappearance, ABC News reports.

Police say they have turned their attention on Adam Baker as they try to find out what happened to Zahra.

More here: http://content.usatoday.com/communi...e-father-of-missing-nc-girl-not-cooperative/1

Why wouldn't a father cooperate! That only tells me (IMO) that he is in cahoots with the SM.

I think that depends who you are. A parent/guardian, health care professional, or school teacher/official would be subject to a mandatory reporting requirement (though a battered parent/guardian wouldn't normally be charged for failure to report, if they were being abused by the same person). And I don't think most states (if any) impose legal sanctions on anyone else who just happens to know about the abuse and doesn't report it.

Well, the legal expert in the video I posted, said that North Carolina does not have the mandatory reporting requirement, unless I miscontrued? She specifically mentioned NC doesn't have it.

Ya know...it's a da*n shame we need laws to force us into what common sense tells us to do. aaaarrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

The most common theme in all of these stories.
NPD/domestic violence as a runner up, but drug abuse and missing kids is a forerunner by FAR.

Might be worth checking out what states do have Good Samaritan laws- and lobby those states that don't.
