Yep, he did not want to even mention Haligh or pay any attention to that. Then again his conversations with GGMa Sykes aren't exactly conversational.

He might as well have been speaking to himself; she could hardly get a word in edgewise and when she did he didn't listen.

Wonder what Mizz Nancy gone have to say about her BF now?
I'll be very surprised if she brings up Ronnie's "choice words" at all. If someone else brings it up, she'll quickly react with "what does that have to do with finding Haleigh" ? :banghead:

I was shocked at his use of the "f" word talking to his grandma....I can just see that happening with me.............NOT

Yeah, I don't get that, because she's made a point to talk about his filthy language-just seems really disrespectful to talk to her like that. The one that stood out to me was d**khead. Even for a cusser, that's kinda strong. But she's used to it, I'm sure. Hey, maybe that's why she brought it up in the article-to prepare the public, lol. Speaking of his language, I'm not so sure that the other inmates will really care. They are all in jail, & that's probably pretty routine. Now, him threatening the jailer may be a different story & he may actually be 'reprimanded', but again, maybe not. My brother in law was a Texas prison guard, & it usually took a real act of violence & then some, to get a reprimand. It was understood that that was just part of the job-they were taught to ignore it. Those places aren't exactly a civilized society.

I honestly can't figure out Teresa's motive. She wasn't much of a mother when he was young, so I guess she really doesn't know how to be a mother, now. I THINK her biggest problem is, butting in. I THINK she manipulated the system & covered for Ron, so he would get custody. That 'man' should NEVER been granted custody. Maybe Teresa just cannot admit she was oh, so wrong about that, so she keeps up the charade. Ron is in jail on almost a million dollar bond, & she keeps playing the game. Go figure.

I suspect TN knows she has to keep playing the game due to the fact she knows prison time is in store for her if and when the truth is ever revealed...Right now she is attempting to cover her own rear end...JMO

OMG!!! Gotta say, I'm not that surprised by these calls, but I'm glad that the people who stood up for Ron time and time again will finally see that this is the real Ron: racist, druggie, loser who doesn't care about his kids and only cares about himself. I can't believe he fooled so many people.

Not to pick on you but there have been several posts of this nature.

Just for the record I stood up for him because my theory is not “RC did it”.

I thought/think that the very things you listed are what made Haleigh vulnerable to a SO.

I wasn’t fooled I just don’t find him as ‘special’ as most of you all do. RC et al types are a dime a dozen around here.

Laughing about the way he talks or mispronounces words sort of lowers the standard of the forum.

I will admit that I thought a poster couldn’t spell when she was spelling work werk until I realized it was their attempt of replicating dialect in an insulting way. IMO

Mizz has a wonderful connotation for me. I hear it every day.

FWIW the n word with an “a” is apparently socially acceptable in certain circles in which African American & whites circulate together and is used by whites even to refer to themselves & each other especially those who think they are gangsta.

IMO

One thing that should be obvious to LE, from this entire cast, is how each of them is plotting and planning ways to get pills while at their respective jails. Ron has a toothache, funny Tommy had one too, and Misty just screams her nerves are bad. Hopefully LE has cracked down and told the jailhouse dentist to can all issuance of Lortabs for a freaking toothache.
That REALLY bothers me. The inmates shouldn't have access. period. They should be sick enough for the hospital before narcotics come into the picture. Ron even admitted he'd be willing to lose a tooth to get them....gaaaahhhhh.....

OT- I live in Wisconsin....born and raised. When we were down south, we were told we have an accent. :waitasec:

LOL yeah I get what ya mean. I was born and raised in Connecticut and everyone here (South Carolina) tells me I have an accent. We speak differently than they do so to them.. it's us who talk funny.

I bet the prison will never give an addict narcotics.........
they probably are used to addicts needing an wanting drugs.
These convicts made their bed, now lay in it!
What is so funny to me.........on the 11 call Ron says
'I ain't afraid to go to jail!' he wanted to kill them.
Well he never killed them and he is afraid of jail.
Wonder who is his cell mate???
Ron really likes the PR guy that has been in jail longer than the guard
has had his job.............
I wonder who will Ron call tonight? on the eve of Haleigh's 1 year disappearance!!!!

exactly-there's a lot of that attitude in my area too-East Texas. That's why his language didn't phase me much. But, I have a college daughter, so I'm exposed to it. Plus, I'm a big cusser. I know it's an ignorant thing to do, but I have always had a 'potty mouth'. But, I never cussed around my parents or grandparents. I married a Texas redneck, & when my daughter was born, I told him I didn't want him to use the N word. He agreed, & except for a few times with friends, she didn't hear it much untill junior high. I, to this day, have never heard her use it. & the same rule applies for my 7 year old.

I talk Pittsburghese and lived in GA.........they all laughed and said they could not understand me!!!

No provanity around this grandma, and no saying bigot words.........I would die if my kids/grandkids talked to me like that.

The most important thing revealed in those calls to me was that he didn't mention his children. It's always been all about Ron. I have no idea if Ron "did it" or not, but I defnitely think he and a bunch of other people are covering their a$$es instead of telling what happened to Haleigh or finding out what happened to her.

IMO.

There was no "a" in Ron's usage of the word (it was definitely "er"), he said it very plainly. Where I come from, Ga., it isn't ever ok for a white person to use this word...it's not ok here in Va either. He was speaking about all of the black people in his pod when he called them stinking ni****s. This is not socially acceptable, it's racist and very very stupid.

IMO, did they hide Haleigh's death so Ron wouldn't lose JR???
If any called 911 for help if Haleigh was ill, (took OXY) everyone
would be in trouble!
The OXY might of been GGS/TN's..........they would be in trouble.
If Ron hit Haleigh..........child abuse..........
and a druggie under age teen living with Ron????
I don't think that any of them (no brains left from drugs) ever thought this would go international news..........IMO

FWIW, I make fun of everyone who sells drugs to undercover cops. You should hear me when I watch Cops.

passion, I'm from Little Wushington P.A. so I am familiar with that unique accent. I can't even understand myself.

I am in my 50's and recently lost my 94 year old grandmother. And to the day she died if I ever dared say that word in front of her she would have slapped my face.

Ron said he was taught to "Respect Women" in one of his videos. Hmmmmm he missed a few lessons IMO

Not that I would even think about talking that way in front of anyone who I respect. I think the key here is respect for our parents and grandparents and women in general. Talking trash and swearing is not how I was raised nor how I want my grandchildren to talk when they grow up. And as a young adult someone talking the way Ron does wouldn't have gotten a second conversation with me as audience. Absolutely shows he was not raised to be a respectful adult.

(snip, bbm) I suggest those presuming to use this as a term of 'familiarity' first a) become better acquainted w--establish a relationship or develop the sort of rapport or association which withstands, in order that this could not be quite so easily misconstrued by the particular individuals to which one refers in such an otherwise offensive, potentially dangerous manner; and b) have also assimilated sufficiently to the culture in general prior to attempts at using what's still very much considered an historically derogatory, racially charged and inflammatory expression.

Furthermore, when being used 'interchangably' w 'homie' ie in a benign slang manner, this unfortunate and loaded expression is seldom found accompanied by such demeaning adjectives as, "They're f*g dirty around here. Real dirty. I'm in the pod w a bunch of stinking @$$ motherf*g n's..."

Not buying it. Nor do I expect RC's new 'homies' to feel enamored by Ronald's recent brotherly 'hood homage' paid to them when w/in earshot of this latest term of 'endearment.'

(bump, bbm) Sorry there's no way to fix this up or make it "socially acceptable" to call someone--anyone, but in particular people of color when you're white--a STINKING @$$ MOTHERF*G N*

Good luck w that. I don't advise it, won't minimize or condone it--and certainly will never attempt to excuse it. Nor can I understand the need to defend the inexcusable. Frankly it's this which "lowers the standard of this forum." JMO.

IMO any man that would use that kind of language when speaking to his own grandmother is no man at all and has no respect what so ever for any woman!!!

  • #360
I am not so distressed with his use of expletive language. I am more distressed at his racial slurs, and his lack of concern for anyone but himself, so much so that he'd resort to the schmoozing he was doing with the unknown female caller, flirting with her just enough and making her feel special enough so that she'd put money into his account. His grandmother, who wanted to talk about something important to her......he shut down. Never asked how she was doing. Never asked her about his son. Never gave his son a message through his grandmother that daddy loves him and is sorry he can't be with him.

Frankly, I have a few expletives my own grandmother taught me I'd like to share with Mr Cummings. She was a pistol, was my gram.
