Judge may be checking now that Jurors aren't dozing off.

I find him very engaging. I have been listening to every word intently.

Bart not so much. I was zoning out constantly.

Great closing comments. I think he did a wonderful job.

Did I miss the drawing up of the jury instructions?

Wow! Great way to tie up all the info from the trial...all about SM..his lies, his coverup...his escape attempt...

So no jury instructions until tomorrow? I missed the last moments of Ward's close.

Tomorrow, VERDICT WATCH! See you then!

  • #428
See you tomorrow for jury instructions and verdict watch.:seeya:

Yes - some members of the jury couldn't stay past 4:45 and the judge didn't want to be rushed in his instructions, so didn't want to start this evening. Back tomorrow for instructions.

I hope the jury comes back after an hour with a guilty verdict, but I fear that we're in for a long wait.

Brilliant closing IMO. I can't think of one thing he could've done differently.

OK Adnoid...go do your update to the site now lol.

I just saw that there's "StretchedToTheLimit @SethsVest" on twitter. Heh.

So funny that you said that, I was just thinking the exact opposite. ( I probably just jinxed it though)

I think it'll be longer than an hour though.

My prediction is Friday afternoon, guilty of murder 1.

I hope, hope, hope you're right!

I hate to just keep saying the same thing over and over, but I am so impressed. The prosecution had such a hard case to make with KM as the only eye-witness, no body, a defense team that played dirty, and a whole lot of weirdness to explain, and I think they managed to pull it off. The only team that I can remember that did more with even less was in people v. Michael Skakel.

I love that Ward made the point that SM drew a map to his mom's house for a sex offender.

This slug of a man doesn't give a dayam even about his mother. It's all about me, me, me. <smh> LWOP, LWOP, LWOP. :banghead:

Same here, Xara. It was one of the best. He's got me so mad & charged up, if I were the jury, I would already be back in there with a verdict. No doubts; no doubts at all.

We've all heard many closings. Some stand out. For me, this one definitely does.

My thoughts exactly, Xara -- verdict on Friday. M1.
