Swearing in a witness without the jury having returned... Ryan John Bachman.... the Judge is explaining the meaning of 'Taking the 5th'... not having to answer a question if the answer could incriminate him.

He is being asked about stealing money from the defendant.
Was given immunity.

Met Kat McDonough in December 2012... she gave him a bank card with Seth's name on it... he's just been asked if he stole money from Seth... judge is pointing out if he answers, he has to be truthful... and that the word steal could have consequences... he says I think I have signed paperwork that says it won't be used against me...

No word yet on whether or not Ryan Bachman, the man Mazzaglia recruited to help him escape jail, has been charged.
Mazzaglia received three more charges in November, including one for a planned jailbreak. Mazzaglia, according to the indictment documents, paid a man named Ryan Bachman to help him with the planned escape by giving Bachman access to his bank account. He then provided Bachman with instructions for the planned “armed and violent breakout."
Bachman did not appear in the Strafford County Superior Court’s November term indictments.
The three charges are conspiracy to commit tampering with witnesses and informants, conspiracy to commit falsifying physical evidence and criminal solicitation (implements for escape and other contraband).

Bachman was an inmate at Strafford County Jail in late 2012, early 2013... he was in and out... he has identified Seth Mazzaglia...

He was Mazzaglia's cellmate, housed with him two separate times... released from jail between those times.

Bachman says there were two witnesses ... and that if they weren't around to testify... there wouldn't be much of a case. He says Seth asked if he knew anyone that could hurt or kill them...

ALOT of immunities granted as well...

That seems like a lot of sacrifices to make for witnesses that aren't doing a good job of helping the state. I know the state is doing the best they can what with no body but I hope it's all worth it
