I realize this area does not have many murders but this testimony does not speak well for the crime scene investigation.

I have wondered if they may have dosed LM with something soon after she got there -- in drink or in food -- and I would think that due to no body being recovered, no tests could have been run to check... Anybody else thought about it, or are KM/SM opposed to that kind of thing, etc., etc.? I mean if "this is the night," then make sure it is so. Dunno...

I posted about that when kat fixated on drinking cider more than once on that evening. During Lizzi's visit and after disposing the body kat was thirsty and had some more cider.

I thought they may have doped Lizzi's drink.

The state is redirecting... he's asking the Detective about the Facebook activity on one of the computers that Defense asked him about... he verifies that he does not know who was home when the websites like OKAY CUPID were visited.

I'm not an expert on dogs, but am pretty sure they can tell the difference.
Good thinking about the tarp. That might explain it, and would also point towards premeditation perhaps.

The tarp is very important in proving pre med. The text about painting was the let's go signal. IIRC tarp and gloves were near by for this 'painting'.

Initially contacted t Target Store...given 2 phone #'s for McD, and 1 for her BF (Seth)

First 1 disconnected; got t answering machines for t 2 others & left VM ID'ing himself and said was looking to speak to Kat

Seth called back about Noon Oct 11

Lizzi's Dad, Bob Marriott had called Chester PD the morning of the 11th saying Lizzi hadn't been seen since Tuesday night. The Officer called UNH PD to have them look for he car... and he called Lizzi's friend Brittany Atwood. Brittany told him that Lizzi was supposed to see her friend Kat McDonough Tuesday night, and Nate McNeal Wednesday afternoon.

Exactly what I was thinkin' Xara. It takes a little while for a body to start the decomp process at least enuff to give off any proof of death (although technically, it starts immediately), especially when it is inside a temp-controlled area; plus, her little body wasn't there for very long...

The officer left a message at the home number for Kat.. which he understood was the apartment she shared with her boyfriend. About five minutes later he got a call back by Seth Mazzaglia. They spoke for about five minutes.

Seth initially said he was home alone
Officer directed the time to 9 PM
S said he had left to jog about that time & returned at abt 10 PM
and that Kat got home abt midnight that night

She said Liz was gonna come over & they were gonna go to t cemetery to take pics & they were gonna convince her that ghosts were real

my readers broke the other day...

He says Seth had been home til about 9:00 the night of the 9th... then went for a run... his legs hurt so he had to walk quite a ways, and got home about 10. He says no one was there when he returned, and that Kat got home about midnight.
