I listened to the 911 call a few times.
Dulce's mother is clearly distraught when the male dispatcher comes on the line. By the time the call gets passed to the female dispatcher, she sounds calmer, I'm thinking it's because she had a moment to catch her breath and collect herself.
What I find concerning is the 2nd dispatcher extrapolating a slightly different story from what Dulce's mother is trying to tell her, and how she kind of cuts Dulce's mother off while she is trying to explain what she knows.
Dispatcher came up with not just a slightly different story of two men chasing Ducle or taking her with them, when none of this was actually told to her.

Anybody relived their childhoods recently and played on swings? Still have young children or grandkids?

I’m an adult and that’s a two hand experience. How did two young children swing with one hand each coveting a loved frozen treat on an 85 degree day? If Dulce helped her brother. She would have put her cup down to help him up. She couldn’t have pushed him one handed and he couldn’t have held on well enough while holding his ice cream. I just can’t believe they were swinging. Don’t know if it matters. There was a ply structure.

I’m thinking he just accidentally dropped his ice cream. Three year olds do that while sitting on a bench. It’s almost inevitable and age appropriate.

I’m also thinking someone was watching. Probably asked “where’s your mom” she pointed and said over there in the car... what’s next?. I don’t know. I hope the search of the park today brings answers for Dulce.

In my opinion, she is far too happy go lucky in the convenience store video to think she would be punished unduly for normal child behavior. I'm assuming she was being raised in a "have a plastic cup" type of environment.
Well, I agree, she doesn't look like a child that would be punished for something like this, but that doesn't mean she couldn't have run off and I guess slipped into a body of water somewhere nearby. Apparently she likes to run even at home, from what we have been told. But you'd think if that was the case they would have found her by now.

I am not sure they were actually playing on the swings either. I think they maybe were sitting on the grass or on a bench, finishing their ice creams 1st.

I do think that someone came up to them and interacted with them aggressively, and convinced Dulce to go with them/him. :(

I wonder if they might have threatened to harm Dulce's brother if she didn't go with them willingly. Maybe that's why his ice cream was knocked to the ground- the kidnapper might have made his point by knocking it out of her brother's hand- perhaps he slapped his hand real hard, upsetting the little guy.

It has been reported that authorities couldn't verify that his ice cream was knocked on the ground. What I noticed on 911 call is that mother says something to the effect "they saw him crying" so it doesn't even sound like she herself saw him cry.

And that’s why Noema isn’t leaving her house. Too many perfect parents out there judging her. I’ll never understand people who kick others when they’re already down.

As a mom with kids this age and being from this area, I can say that my concern would be less that someone would abduct my kids, and more concerned that a kid would get injured or lost in the woods, or fall in to the bodies of water in this park.
It's just not really an area where people are messing with little kids and random abductions are not happening.

I feel like maybe there were people in Noema's age group playing basketball, maybe not people she knew so much as friends, but as people she felt safe with, maybe recognized and felt familiar with, and it gave her an extra sense that it's ok regarding the stranger danger.

I personally hate to live in fear of my kids being abducted and the helicopter mentality of some parents where they want kids to live in a protective bubble. I try to foster independence in my children by giving them a sense of safety and letting them run ahead, but know I have to recheck that now.

I also think it was so hot that day, maybe she was sitting in the car with the air running, but who knows.
At any rate, I hope this child is found. I so want a happier ending. Regardless of the outcome, it changes life for this family and community in a negative way. That deserves compassion.

What’s the transient population like in the area? We have a homeless crisis here. Many take up sleeping in green spaces and their vehicles. Same thing happening there?

I don't think anyone is disputing the fact that the mother did not see what happened. She was in her car 50 yards away from the children and quite possibly did not have a clear line of sight. It's not surprising that she's jumbled up about what happened to her daughter.

As for who did what after the abduction, it sounds like the 3 year old was crying and heading towards the car, the 8 year old and mother either together, or one at a time, went to see why he was crying.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw photos of the area posted here. Maybe the playground was closed but people ignored the orange barrier that was around the swings and other parts of the playground. It did not look like a safe place where children should play.

Yes- and I was thinking about those 2 guys w/kids - they may have yelled at them to get off the equipment/ off the playground, as it wasn't finished.

He never went towards the car per latest information. Claims that he came back to the car were erroneous.

Great question. We have a homeless crisis and a gang problem here.

If that were the case, I presume Dulce and her brother both would have left the playground. But that is not the case, as the brother remained.

Thank you. What kind of gang problem? New or generations old? Is it territorial due to drug sales or is it more of an opportunity monopolized upon due to poverty and large disenfranchised populations?

I am not big on Facebook but I find it odd that Bidgeton police have Facebook page and I have not seen anything about Dulce on it.(I could have missed it but I don't think so)

True- but we have no confirmation of just where he was. I was thinking of the area that had the gray barrier looking things and orange mesh fence that weren't put together that were kind of around the play area. Who knows anymore. Seems no one saw them on swings, on the bench....around the barriers? No clue

First or latest information, it doesn't really matter. The child was crying, his sister is missing, no one knows what happened.

Regarding what the child was wearing, how many people take a moment to try to remember what they wore yesterday or ate for lunch? It takes a minute to remember, and the memory is not always accurate. I suspect that most people with a heightened stress reaction could get a lot of small details wrong.

Poverty and a mentality that they are owed something. We had a young delivery driver lured to a vacant house and murdered . 6 teens. Before he died he was able to tell officers wich way they be went.

If she had just put on fresh laundered clothing minutes before would that add a challenge to a track dogs job — maybe not having a scent except the laundry scent? Additionally, Can dogs trace scents of say, someone who was given a piggy back ride?

There are homeless living in the outskirts of towns in this area in wooded areas, I cannot speak directly about the wooded areas of this park.

The gang situation seems to be directly connected to the prisons. Lots of community folks who have lived in Cumberland County complain that it was not this way about 20 years back. There seems to a lot of people who are generationally from this area who complain that many of the prison population relocated to just outside of the prison after release due to housing vouchers. I don't know a lot of the dynamics, but a lot of the crime seems to be blamed on gangs.

I'm pretty sure Bridgeton FB had the Amber Alert when it was announced. Sadly this story is being moved from a lot of the news, except the Vineland teacher situation and when press conferences come out. There is not much information it seems.
