This attack is what can happen when you don't have a neighborhood watch.

I haven't watched the video...too scared. Just seeing the still pic of the momma on the floor and her precious child on the couch ....... Literally makes me sick to my stomach!

You reap what you sow you sob.
Imoo

Don't watch it. I have had nightmares ever since and in fact, have been struggling to even get to sleep at night. It is horrifying :(

another attack years ago:

In the Sept. 16, 1991, attack, Custis broke into the ranch-style house around noon on Moreland Drive in Delran. He rifled a jewelry box and hid in the closet when the homeowner's 34-year-old daughter came home with her 18-month-old daughter and 5-year-old niece, police said. "She entered the master bedroom; he jumped out of the closet. He took her by surprise," Delran Detective Sgt. Jeffrey Hubbs said Wednesday. Custis pushed the woman onto the bed. He punched her, choked her, and dragged her to the top of stairs leading to the basement, police said. The woman managed to grab her daughter, but Custis shoved the two down the stairs, Hubbs said. Hubbs said Custis snatched the woman's keys and drove away in her 1984 Ford station wagon. Custis, then a Cinnaminson resident, was arrested the next day around 17th and Federal Streets in Camden, where he was trying to sell the station wagon, Hubbs said. Neither the child nor the woman was seriously injured. Custis was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison for the Sept. 16, 1991, attack, according to the Burlington County Times.

And it says neither she nor the child had "serious injuries". Okay then. Sentenced to 10 years, how many did he serve? 6?

Hopefully he will get the book thrown at him this time! As I have said before, attempted murder should be the same as murder,. jmo

Home invader whose vicious attack on mother in front of her child was caught on the family's 'nanny cam' indicted for attempted murder

He has such a warm and friendly smile in the photo with police (no sarcasm, he does). He seems like the type of guy that could easily approach his victims (when he wanted to approach in a parking lot or even knocking on a door) and the victims would feel obligated to trust him.

I see he was supposed to go to trial last November but nothing since then.
