MOO - He looks so cold and dead inside. I hope they find Stephanie soon and her family can get some peace. Any updates on LE searching the area? I haven't seen anything new, but maybe some locals would know better.

It would be nice to think that the judge let this freak POI, J.O. , loose -- in hopes that he might return to where he put Stephanie.... :(
Sure hope they're watching his movements.
Poor lady, and her family. I can't imagine.

Your thoughts are mine as well. Not sure why else they’d let him go, unless they bugged his car. :)

It might be because of the NJ Bail Reform - pretty much everyone gets let go unless the prosecutor can prove their an imminent danger to society.

Ozbilgen was arrested Nov. 9 after a child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 photo was found on his iPhone during a forensic review of his phone after authorities searched his home in connection with the Oct. 30 disappearance of Stephanie Parze, 25. Webster has said the child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 charge is unrelated to the Parze case.

Ozbilgen has not been charged in her disappearance.

He remains a focus of the investigation, however. Prosecutors told Superior Court Judge Paul Escandon on Tuesday that Ozbilgen sent 10 angry text messages to Parze the night before she disappeared, NJ.com reported. Parze never answered the texts, which concluded with one calling her an expletive, the report said.

I’m still at a loss why they didn’t find anything where his phone pinged that one night? Spending 6 hours in the woods in the middle of the night is a pretty huge deal imo.

IMO, looking at the size of his arms and given his propensity for violence, she didn't stand a chance against him in a struggle.

Wondering if they found anything in his vehicle?

His defense attorney, Robert Honecker, Jr. also represented another local lunatic, Paul Caneiro, until he was handed off to a public defender.

Hoping she is found soon and praying for answers for her loved ones.

I have a hunch he buried her. 6 hours is also a long time for simply dumping a body. I believe some of his Facebook comments alluded to digging holes, I suppose as he thought, in a facetious manner. But, there is often truth behind snide comments.

In any case, the use of bloodhounds has been stated. Not sure about cadaver dogs. I assume and hope they are not finished searching that area. All MOO

Totally agree! He grew up in the area, he is comfortable there and probably knows those woods, like the back of his hand. I think the pings can point to an area but not a specific point within that area.
Six hours is a really long time. Really want to know more about any searches of his vehicle, did it have GPS that tracked his movements? Did cadaver dogs hit on his car? Any CCTV footage locally of his movements?

MOO, MOO

It can sometimes take up to 2-3 hours for cadaverine to be expelled from a body, depending on many variables but most specifically the type of wounds. It’s possible that he put her into his car immediately and so the car wouldn’t have traces of it, the dogs would have to detect the cadaverine through the buried soil if he did indeed bury her immediately... :(

Quotes from article:
The ex-boyfriend of the New Jersey woman missing for nearly three weeks sent her a slew of angry, expletive-laced messages the night she disappeared, prosecutors said in court Tuesday.

John Ozbilgen fired off at least 10 texts and Facebook messages to his ex, Stephanie Parze, on Oct. 30, telling her “she always has to make their relationship suck” and calling her a “f–king c—t,” Monmouth County Assistant Prosecutor Caitlin Sidley said, according to the Asbury Park Press.

The 29-year-old stockbroker was named as a “person of interest” in Parze’s disappearance, though he hasn’t been charged in the missing persons case.

The revelations came as Sidley tried to convince Superior Court Judge Paul Escandon to keep Ozbilgen in jail on unrelated child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 charges. In the end, the judge ordered his release on bail.

Freehold missing woman: Ex-boyfriend sent expletive-laced texts night before she vanished

Quotes from article:

FREEHOLD - The night before Stephanie Parze disappeared, her on-again-off-again boyfriend sent her 10 unanswered text messages that ended with obscenities and told her that "she always has to make their relationship suck," a prosecutor told a judge Tuesday.

For the first time, authorities in court Tuesday named one-time boyfriend John D. Ozbilgen a "person of interest" in Parze's disappearance. The Freehold Township woman has been missing since the night of Oct. 30.

Authorities also revealed that Parze filed a simple assault domestic violence complaint against Ozbilgen on Sept 23.

The disclosures came during Ozbilgen's detention hearing on a child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 charge, which authorities said was unrelated to the search for Parze, but was discovered while searching his home because of Parze's disappearance.

Ex-boyfriend of missing woman sent her angry texts the night before she disappeared, prosecutor says

Honecker said Ozbilgen, who is a licensed stockbroker, was fired by Staten Island-based Woodstock Financial Group on Oct. 31, but plans to seek new employment. He said police had searched his residence multiple times and taken computers and vehicles.

Detectives also noted marks around Ozbilgen’s neck while they were investigating Parze’s disappearance, Sidley said.

I don't like the sound of that (marks on his neck), very concerning in light of everything else. Hoping they can find something that will lead them to Stephanie.
