I thought SB said it was ok. But, I believe we can now after LE confirms it.

BBM

"John Ozbilgen, 29, who also lives in Freehold Township, was arrested at his home Friday and charged with possession of child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, officials said. No charges related to Parze's disappearance were filed against him, but law enforcement sources say Ozbilgen is considered a person of interest in the Parze case. No other details on their possible connection were immediately available, and information on an attorney for Ozbilgen wasn't clear."

Video also state that LE has named him a suspect.

IMHO, they need to find her remains. (Sadly I think this is most likely that she is deceased. Why else would they be searching wooded and wetland areas in a park 30 miles from her home and where she was last seen. )

I don't believe there is any evidence of what JO may have done to her in his home. I'm betting he surprised her and probably snatched her out of her own residence. His vehicle could contain evidence, but finding her body would be the best way to pursue charges against him. All JMO

Does anyone know how big of an area the park is that they are searching? Hoping they will find some answers soon for Stephanie’s family.

It appears JO was charged twice this year for assault. Victims names have been redacted.

A police report from the incident states the victim was “an intimate partner (who) recently left (Ozbilgen)” or told him she planned to leave. The report also states the victim was fearful of future assaults.

Hello all. I'm in the MoCo EMS/Police/Fire community and only post on local threads. I don't know if I'm allowed to post specific local chatter, so instead I would like to briefly talk about the Parze family.

The Parzes are know around Monmouth County as the "Christmas light people." They have an enormous Christmas light display on a popular road near the mall that gets bigger every year. Mall traffic always backs up on that road, so he liked to think that their display would make mall-goers take a quiet moment amid their frustration. Mrs. Parze used to tell the kids in the neighborhood that it was to help Santa find their houses. They add something new every year and there's always a comical aspect to Mr. Parze figuring out how to turn off all of the timers for the different motion-activated effects every year (one year, there was a solid six months after Christmas where the hedges would start singing Christmas carols every time a car drove on the shoulder near their house).

The lights are set up now and usually turn on the day after Halloween, but Mr. Parze has been adament that the lights will never turn on again until Stephanie is found. Driving by the house and seeing all of the dark Christmas lights is crushing. They just erected a single illuminated sign that says, "Stephanie Come Home."

What a generous family. And such a touching story. A shame the lights are dark. A reflection of the family’s sadness. Understandable. I feel so badly for them all. Can’t even be joyous during the holiday season because their girl is missing.
Someone needs to fess up. IMO

Oh wow, assuming the injured party was Stephanie I guess we can imagine what happened to her. No wonder her parents knew so little about JO, this was not a good relationship and she wasn't sharing much about him with them.

If you go back to her facebook posts for 9/22, she has 2 posts, for the next several days just a few more. This girl is a prolific poster, so that's odd. I may be reading more into it than I should?

I wish we knew who the victim was in those cases and if it was her. If it was someone else, MOO it just seems to add up to his character. From the charges he's facing and other things being said about him online.. he seems like a really terrible human being with no regard for anyone but himself. This isn't looking good and it is hurting my heart so bad.

Thank you for sharing this with us... On another thread we realized we/the media focus so much on the POI's character traits, (and mostly necessarily so) that all the lovely things about the missing person and their families are completely washed over. But it is so truly wonderful to hear about Stephanie's family- about the joy and laughter that they delight in bringing to their community.

And how truly heartbreaking it is to think that a member of that community could be responsible for taking the joy and light from the Parze family- somebody Mr.Parze was trying to bring happiness to is someone who caused the lights to go out at their house...

But they clearly are still holding on to hope, as we all should somewhere in our hearts, so please,
"Stephanie Come Home"
Praying for the Parze family

"Both times, Stephanie Parze said she was going to end the relationship, with the police report also noting she said she was afraid of future assaults

The New Jersey woman who for two weeks police and family have been searching for twice called the police on her boyfriend for abuse, law enforcement sources told NBC New York.

During their months-long relationship, Stephanie Parze accused John Ozbilgen of abuse in two separate instances, sources said. Ozbilgen is a person of interest in the 25-year-old’s disappearance in late October.

The first incident Freehold Township police were called for was in June, when Ozbilgen was accused of “grabbing her face, pulling her hair and dragging her by her hair causing minor injury and pain,” according to a police report.
Parze asked for that charge to be dismissed sometime afterward."

She could be anywhere then I’m thinking...maybe he purposely went where they’re searching where I assume they pinged his phone as being in that area during the early AM hours for several hours.....

I’m sure there’s got to be more to this we don’t know that the police etc are keeping confidential...and for good reason.

I hope they find her soon...and hopefully, miraculously find her alive... so sad.

"In the September case, Parze accused Ozbilgen of striking her hand and then backhanding her across the head, according to a criminal complaint.

She suffered an injury to her thumb and her fake nail came off, the complaint says. A police report from the incident mentions the victim was “an intimate partner (who) recently left (Ozbilgen)” or told him she planned to leave. The report also states she was fearful of future assaults.

Ozbilgen was also charged with assault for a June 17 incident, when he allegedly grabbed a woman’s face and dragged her by her hair, causing minor injury and pain, according to a criminal complaint. That complaint was disposed."

The woman in that case is not Stephanie Parze, the source said."

They supposedly tracked his phone in that area on Staten Island for 6 hours. I admit I considered what you did as a possibility, but to fake LE out for 6 hours in the middle of the night seems like overreach. I feel more likely he was comfortable with this area as he stated he had romantic liaisons out there many times, so he would be able to use that as an excuse for his phone placing him there for so long. She was hurt by him at least 2 times, and her family (dad) doesn't know of this guy. Would she have kept his name and his behavior from them? I feel they would have been more alert and in protective mode for her if they had known these things. IMO
