The Hobbs Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing family. Hobbs Police say the family, Andrei C. Ducila, Luiza Badea, Andreea Andrei-Ducila, Raoul Badea and Elisabeta Badea, were last seen May 2, 2020 at about 5:48 p.m. in the area of Hobbs.

This is odd. They have been missing for almost 6 months! Where were they living, was it an apartment or a house? Who reported the missing and when? Do the children attend daycare? This is a very long time to not hear from a family.

Andrei Cristian Ducila, 25, and Luiza Badea, 22, were both charged with four counts of abuse of a child, all third-degree felonies; after police found the family of six outside a retail parking lot, on June 3, 2019. The four children were dirty, red in the face from the summer heat and wearing no shoes.

Another one, looks they are on the run or hiding

Two Hobbs parents are wanted tonight. Their children, who are still in state custody, have not been seen or heard from in nearly a month.
Warrants have been issued for Luiza Badea and Andrei Cristian Ducila for custodial interference. It’s believed those parents took off with those kids.​

Court documents show the children's legal guardian is CYFD and that department workers haven’t seen the kids in almost a month, but a missing persons report hasn’t been filed yet according to the Hobbs Police Department.

Search For New Mexico Family Missing Since May Ends with Arrest of Parents in Texas

Capt. Shane Blevins from the Hobbs Police Department tells PEOPLE Andrei Ducila, 25, and Luiza Badea, 22, and three of their children were located in Houston, Texas, over the weekend.
The parents were taken into custody, and the children were transferred to state child welfare officials.
