Thanks NCEast for sharing your personal info with us. I know it has to be a struggle for you.

I am sitting here and gaining weight, blaming it on the effects of quitting smoking ( 9-24-2012), almost 10 months now. Plus the fact that I am not as active now. I do eat a little more but not much. I also suffer from chronic back pain and muscle spasms, from not keeping my body as active as I can. I also have nerve damage from my pelvic area down to my toes on my right foot. So far I have had 2 back surgery's with the 2nd one having helped the most. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me, I just want people to understand you can not always see what is truly going on in one life.

On top of all of this I suffer with Chronic Depression, recently discoved since youth.

I will stop boring you now!

Trial time!

Not boring Jewels, I know how difficult living in constant pain can be. I'm so sorry. Glad you got some relief with the second surgery. I was at my wit's end until my doctor put me on prednisone last month, along with pain meds, that have helped so much.
Yes, you are right, we never know exactly what's going on in the lives of those around us--especially here on WS where so much is anonymous. I have asked CJ to get me back in line if I ever get out....and normally, if I ever get warped in my thinking or short-tempered it will be because of pain.
Here's hoping all of us feel really good today and that McKay will present a most excellent closing for Tera and her family!

I use two browsers as well, IE for the live streaming and Maxthon for WS and other sites. I used FF a long time ago but never got comfortable with it. Why is no one developing new browswers? The choices we have are pitiful.

I downloaded Maxthon geevee and can already see it's faster than ID or Firefox. So I'll keep it. Thanks for the tip!

Good Morning everyone. I will have to try out Maxthon. This AM is supposed to start at 845 per judge yesterday but Anna V from KOAT say 9

Thanks NCEast, I know with my age, almost 60 now, plus all of the meds I am on. My brain can't keep up with my thought. So I know sometimes I don't always post what I really want to convey. My words will come out all scrambled up, I can talk one on one much easier.

On another note I hope we can get this finished today!

I have live action in the courtroom but no judge yet.

I don't know if closing will start as judge demanded. Didn't serna want to recall a state witness?

I've never seen a trial so lop sided favoring one side. I thought Jodi Arias's judge was a doozy but this judge is worse IMO. I still think I am seeing another 'weak' judge. Unlike the judge in Seacat's trial who had an iron grip on the law and what he would tolerate in his court Arias and this judge seem like they aren't strong enough in the law to hear the objection etc and make a ruling in court immediately. Both seemed to prefer sidebars. Just my opinon but I do think the defense atty senses this and pushes with ever more ridiculous demands.

I'm taking Topamax for migraines but it's a seizure medication and I swear some days it makes me dyslectic in my typing and my thought processes. I hope by now you all have learned to read between the lines with me. I never mean any harm!!

How nice--Ms. Keener is wearing a bracelet with Tera's name on it.

Did the judge say 3 hours for each side?????

  • #3,393
Oh no first thing in the morning and serna is up mumbling some complaint. I don't know if I can handle 3 hours of his closing. Lord give me strength!

Tera's mom helping Keener with her bracelet. Sweet.

Judge: each side gets 3 hrs for closing arguments #levichavez

Yup we get to hear Serna rant and rave about his sweet innocent client LC for 3 hours. Gag.

Thank goodness the judge threw out serna's demand about the special instructions, hoping to minimize the state's forensic expert (blood on gun). No special instructions!

Heather Chavez is in the house today.

I have honestly expected her to be there more often than the couple of days she has made an appearance. Either she is working and can't get off, doesn't have any more vaca time left, doesn't want to be there and just doesn't care. I hope it's the last.

I don't know if I can either CH. And knowing Serna, he will use every single minute of his 3 hours.

Oh my goodness my eyes just welled up with tears. I was wondering what was going on. Dear Lord please let Tera be there to give McKay and Keener power today.

That was a good ruling for the state.
