A lot
So so so true.

She doesn't seem at all that she was a teenager indulging in risky behaviour at all. She was waiting to go to work for a 12 hour shift !!!

How many of you know 18 year olds who have regular jobs that have 12 hour shifts?
A lot of teenagers I know actually

That would mean that the suspect drove to the shallow grave a second time, after returning Naomi's car to the Sherwin-Williams.

Naomi was abducted in her car. If he returned to the site, he would not have driven there in his truck after photos of his truck were released.
I’m not from Nevada but I’m hearing that it would take a 4wD to get to the gravesite location. Doubt Naomi’s car made that trip

So very sad. Godspeed Naomi.
Sincere sympathy to all who loved you.
May justice be swift and severe.

Hoping they find Ciera soon. Moo

Use street view to see the roads in the area:

Google Maps

It's also possible that he returned to the scene of the crime on a later day in his truck and dug a grave.

More vehicles at the house where Naomi Irion kidnapping suspect Troy Driver’s truck was found. A man who said he is Driver’s best friend came out and told us to get the f*** off the property but then talked to me for a while. He says police have it wrong. More on @NewsNation. https://t.co/7coizUrX8v
That gray car in the driveway at link, looks at awful lot like the car that pulled in to the walmart parking lot. Large coincidence I guess ...

When I first heard the video of the former co-worker, my first thoughts were, and I stated at that time, that he seemed like some guy with an axe to grind with LedCor, for being fired, and by attempting to get an audience to point a finger at TD, who was arrested with apparently no help from him, he also made sure to connect him to LedCor at every opportunity. I do not believe anything he said about TD "possibly" hiding evidence at this mine and that mine, and yadda yadda. Any of TD's alleged work absences can, and I sure have been checked by LE. I thought then, and still do, that the co-worker was primarily looking for his 15 minutes. JMO

I believe that too. Quite a few folks in the iCkEdMeL live stream when he was playing the co-workers videos were disagreeing with that, but in those videos he keeps bringing it back around to the company and being fired. Naomi is almost an afterthought.

I hope you’re all bearing up today folks. It’s cold where I am in the UK at the moment, and I’ve largely been wrapped up today just catching up on everything. Naomi’s family have been so strong. They’re now using the hashtag #JusticeForNaomi and long may they prosper in seeking it.

This is news that many of us that have been here for years expected to hear at some point, but even when you expect it, you never really are prepared for it. The thing that keeps us here, I think, is the hope that in some way we may make a difference in the lives of the people that end up on the pages here, and then news like this just make you put your face in your hands and cry.

This beautiful young woman had her entire life ahead of her, and lost it because of some sick monster that decided she was going to be his, and then was never going to be anyone else's. Her family has shown far more compassion for him than he has ever shown for probably any other human, and I will say it for them now...if proven guilty, and I believe that he will be, I pray he never draws another breath as a free person, for as long as he lives. I hope he rots in prison.

To her precious family, nothing will bring your lovely daughter back, but although we never knew her, our hearts are breaking for you and your loss. May you feel the love of many thousands of arms wrap around you during this difficult time, and may you draw comfort in knowing you will see her again one day. JMO
@SteveP
Thank you for putting the words of our thoughts in this beautiful post,

I have been following along quietly since the beginning.

Even though we know how it usually ends, we all still hold on to that last bit of hope.

Fly High beautiful Naomi !!
I am so sorry you had to endure this with this Evil Monster.

My husband is military and works for the NSA. The military may have been involved, though I think it's a very unlikely, but the NSA would not be. I think it is likely a "tip" from his gps (via phone or truck) or information collected from his employer/fellow employees. I think it's also very possible the FBI had drones searching and came across disturbed ground.
She said: 'they found her body near a gravesite'. I don't know exactly what that means.

@Herat Are there any old settlements/ghost towns/family cemeteries/abandoned churches in the area where Naomi's body was found?

Did TD live in the house where his car was found? Or where did he live?

Also - no updates on whether he's been charged with her murder?

Does anyone know what jail he's being held at?

I tried searching for him on Vinelink and he didn't show up. I must be doing something wrong.

ETA: I figured it out!

I initially thought that the sites he visited with his co-worker included the location where he left Naomi's body. However, I'm not sure there is a mine at this location.

Remains of kidnapped woman Naomi Irion, 18, are found in remote area of Nevada | Daily Mail Online

There is no mine at that location you circled in red.

That is the wettest part of the Stillwater Wildlife Refuge and you will find lots of wonderful birds there right now, but no mines.

That is not the area that I saw on a LE map identifying the general area her body was located in.

The dot I saw on a LE map was near the top of the page in the light brown area of hills just east of Highway 95. Sort of in the light brown or maybe the dark brown hills. Those are rough and rocky.

The light to gray areas are flat alkaline crust or if with water, areas of scrub sage and reeds.

"Gravesite" indicates buried, and I'm assuming that he did not dig 6 feet down to bury her.

"Investigators found the 18-year-old's body at a gravesite in an undisclosed area of Churchill County, the sheriff's office confirmed Wednesday, just hours after her accused kidnapper appeared in court via Zoom."

Regarding vehicles, we know that she was abducted in her car, and that his truck was seen near her car several hours later in the day. That suggests that she was taken to that gravesite in her car. That means his truck GPS does not help to locate that gravesite unless he returned to that gravesite in his truck at a later time.

I agree, but the area where her body appears to have been found would be rough and rocky roads. Maybe made by a grader at one time to get to a mine, but not paved or safe for a small sedan without a high clearance, 4wd and rugged tires. Did she even have enough gas in her vehicle? I just have to think there was a huge risk he would take in driving her car up there and he would also have to put shovels and tarps & such into her vehicle. I think the risk of breaking down in her car out there and being stranded with her stolen vehicle and possibly her body would not be worth it.

This is why the car- truck coordination doesn't yet make sense to me.

You're assuming he killed her that day. But that doesn't have to be the case.
He could have kept her for a while somewhere too. There's also a possibility he was not acting alone.

I had actually wondered if he had placed his white trailer ( visible in Brian's photo of TD's domicile) in someplace like Lake Lahontan State Park or nearby and taken her there from Fernley to assault her. Then when he drove back, dropped off her car, and then went back to the trailer and move it with his truck with her (likely deceased) in it, driven it back to a place to bury her. Then come back later and spent all day on Monday cleaning that trailer and truck of all evidence.

Even if he took her car through a car wash, it isn't going to get all the dirt/sand/rocks out of the tires or the undercarriage and that might tell where her vehicle had been taken ( It looks so easy to do this on CSI, right?)
