And yet, doesn't roll his own window down...I don’t know whether it’s TD or not, but I agree that it looks as if he’s gesturing for her to roll the window down. I think he can tell she’s filming and he doesn’t want his license plate recorded. We don’t know a lot about TD aside from his past, but if this is him I highly doubt he’s gesturing for a woman to leave her car in the middle of the road and get into his in broad daylight. JMHO
Nevada is a death penalty state!! Didn't know this until I looked up open murder.
I believe there was a clear attempt to intimidate her, which is assault. Following her could be stalking. And intentionally blocking her getting away can be kidnapping. But even if those actions did not rise to the level of chargeable crimes, they certainly justify having an officer look into it. That is what would happen where I live. Any woman being treated that way needs to feel comfortable calling the police and knowing they will take it seriously.I agree with almost every point you’ve made here, but I do have to say that there’s nothing in this video that’s criminal in nature. I absolutely believe the woman who posted it, who said that this man was following her around and that it should be taken seriously, but just looking at this video and this alone, there’s nothing here that would make LE do anything. I understand why they’d have looked at it and said that that there’s nothing of a criminal nature, other than what looks to be an irate man in his car gesturing at the woman filming.

He's been charged with "open murder" correct? Clark County, NV.I am just wondering here and hope a legal @Kristin Esq. comes in to verify. Could they charge him with kidnapping in one county - this would put him behind bars and hold him... then charge him with murder in another county?? That is only IF he actually murdered her in Pershing County. The kidnapping charge would hold him while they get the autopsy back and work on building evidence in the murder.

I don't disagree with you. It's just that he followed her and apparently cornered her in a parking lot. If she's concerned enough to call 911, they should come out, talk to the other driver, see if he's got any warrants out for him, see if his car is stolen, see if he's armed etc. Officers are trained to determine whether someone is potentially dangerous. This might be getting too far off topic.I don’t disagree that he looks threatening, nor that what the lady who posted the video was saying about his actions isn’t valid. I’m just saying that, looking at this video alone and trying to speculate on what LE might think of it, I don’t see anything here that would indicate assault or kidnapping. If he’d gotten out and come over, started banging on her car window etc then I think it would come across very differently.

I Know right? Did I miss something? How do we know what transpired? .It seems like the guys annoyed because he’s being recorded. I’d probably be annoyed too. Who’s the person recording? Why are they waiting for the car to pull up? If I thought I was being followed, I wouldn’t pull over, then wait, even in broad daylight, for some “creep”, to park next to me, so I could film him. No. I’d get a license plate number, call 911 and drive as fast as I could to a police station, hospital or somewhere with a lot of people. Did they provide this video to LE ? Or, do they know TD personally and are now trying to make $$ by selling a video to the media?
It just seems that every case I've followed lately, the state doesn't have the death penalty.Well, technically it is, although the last execution took place in April, 2006. And, as much as I do not believe it is likely, it is possible that TD agreed to tell where Naomi was buried in exchange for a guarantee from the state that they would not pursue the death penalty at trial. I am convinced that LE had a very specific clue where to find her, else I do not believe they would have at this point. I'm just not sure where that clue came from. JMO
Or, had he taken 'something' and was feeling overconfident as a result? The woman that filmed it posted her story and the vid in one of the NI fb groups. She did call 911 but the dispatcher wasn't too concerned about it. Yes she tried to forward the video to LE after TD was arrested and as of 11 hours ago, LE still wasn't interested in the information. The original post is still available for reading.
I do agree with most others here that what the driver did wasn't illegal. But IF that's him, and IF he's used that car in other crimes, then it bears looking into by LE, and I'm sure they know that.
Would this be a strange tactic on TD's part? To try and harass/possibly kidnap a woman in the middle of the day a month before he abducted NI... yes. Maybe he was drunk and was feeling pretty confident?

Posted earlier in this thread was more of his past criminal record. This was at the bottom, "The article goes on to state Driver admitted to being a heavy drinker, starting at age 16, and a "heavy" daily user of marijuana since age 15. Needing to "take a hit" every 5 mins."
Makes me wonder if he had hit the bottle and taking some hits of pot. IF that is him harassing that woman in the car. His brain could be fried.
I hope it’s not fried because I’ve a feeling his defence team could use that to argue that he’s not mentally together, that he’s had to self medicate with pot over the years. JMO.
He was following her for awhile and she pulled into the parking lot and filmed him. Then he left. She had reason to be spooked....especially if it was TD.She saw a man in a car, perhaps a man who thought he knew her. He left. She's fine. The man wasn't driving a truck - Troy drives a personal or work truck. The man didn't interfere with her. What would be her complaint - that a man in a car in a public parking lot spooked her?
I don't understand what this has to do with Naomi's abduction and murder.
We can't see. She was by herself and the guy was following her. He bears a striking resemblence to someone now charged with kidnapping and murder. Is the man in her video missing part of his ear?
So much for trusting people's instincts.I Know right? Did I miss something? How do we know what transpired? .It seems like the guys annoyed because he’s being recorded. I’d probably be annoyed too.
