According to the family's own story, that's exactly what she was doing.
Exactly. BM said they were combing the streets looking (and with a 9mm too)
According to the family's own story, that's exactly what she was doing.
Another thing I was thinking about KK and Zach:
1) would they have any reason to set EN up?
2) are they reliable witnesses (for instance Zach didn't testify)..
3) both called crime stoppers, which is the reward until of LE (so to speak). Do they want reward money? Are they "junkies" (excuse me, but we don't know them....) motivated by money?
Of course I will assume that they are doing their civic duty as good citizens, and it may be KK testified because she had more complete information, but they say EN told them the story and then they waited until they found a news story that matches. But maybe they found a story that matched and then they filled in details of what EN would have said?
BTW, isn't Stan the one who called LE and had The guy arrested whose name is something like Jong...something)? There is a news article where the GF who was with this boy when arrested stated he did NOT threaten the man and son with a gun but had taken out his cell phone...
The comments on this story show exactly why the prosecution has a huge problem. The family is unlikeable and the majority of posters seem to perceive that TM was out for some vigilante justice.
She is perceived as the aggressor. (As much as one can establish from internet comments)
So...... why did TM & BM set out to hunt for him? Why would TM have thought that a silver car sitting near the school was the same car that road-raged her earlier over on Durango or Westchase?
Because the defense has PLENTY to work with and can fill in the holes with an entirely different story about how they Meyers were the aggressors who were out to get EN and that this incident frames in a much larger story of the M's threatening, intimidating and harassing EN to the point where he feared for his life, his mother's life and his one month old sister's life and since TM and BM hunted him down, he made a split second decision that it was him or them and in order to exit the cul de sac successfully, he would have to spray bullets so they could make the turn and leave.
Add into that fact that the Ms are unlikeable (by a lot and seem to have a lot to hide):
Hung jury, manslaughter, acquittal are on the table.
Reminds me of the GZ case. Exactly.
Um, no it isn't because the jury has to follow the law.
I didn't follow the GZ case. So which cast of characters is GZ?
As far as I can tell they are the most credible witnesses out of anyone and I think they only smoke weed. I think they had to report it or else they may have been charged with a crime and I also think that's why they tried to get him out of their place as quickly as possible.
It could be that Stan, but it might not be
He's the guy who killed the kid who Obama said could be his son
I mean who in the TM case is the GZ?
They follow their conscience, the law, the instructions from the judge and there is always jury nullification (which granted likely doesn't apply here)... The jury always has an out if they reasonably don't want to convict.
Exactly. BM said they were combing the streets looking (and with a 9mm too)
I suggest you do some reading on self-defense law in NV.
I've always thought it a possible all three M's were in the car for the whole event. And EN's testimony says that he saw "heads" in the plural inside the Buick at Mt. Shasta. There were heads in the car at the same time that someone with a beard was running out of the car.
Why would the Meyers lie about all 3 of them being in the car that night? To me that wouldn't make sense..
I'm convinced that we correctly know what EN saw, what he thought, and what he did.
Because they wanted to paint it as an innocent driving lesson -- BM wouldn't be in the car while TM was giving KM driving lessons.
Remember, originally, the driving lesson and road rage story was the whole story. That's what they wanted us to believe had happened.
They wanted us to believe that there were driving lessons, then there was road rage, then the road rager followed TM & KM home and opened fire. They wanted us to believe that BM was innocently sleeping at home and that he came outside with his gun to return fire at the silver car as it left.
What I'd like to get a sense of and what could be very revealing was how long was it between EN getting into the Audi and the Buick returning to be behind them at the school - was it 2 minutes or 20 minutes - and I'd hope there would be school CCTV footage to show that...not just for what the Buick was doing, but the timeframe in which it came and left the school area. Per the Meyers account it had to be have been at least like 20 minutes with going to the circuitous route to Durango until finally getting back home after the alleged road rage and then once BM got in the car also driving around some more before arriving back at the school, but with the way EN allegedly says it happened, it could have been much quicker than that.
Ok so this still doesn't make sense to me.. lol sorry, I'm senseless when I think.. :blushing: So say there really wasn't a driving lesson going on, why would all 3 be in the car during both shootouts? If they all wanted to locate EN that night, they could have when he was in the park alone, that would have been a good time to take care of business..
