EN wouldn't need to be picked up at 11:15 because he was already picked up.
Exactly. I'm glad you finally admit someone else picked up EN. :p

Did you miss that part in Mogg's testimony where more than one person showed up to pick up EN? I'll bet EN called everyone he knew. It's possible he and DA talked immediately prior to someone arriving.

I admit someone else picked him up? Seriously? Is that the best you can do?

"fessed up"?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

If one 'vic' witness tells................Version BM.1, BM.2, BM.3, BM.4, & BM.5 and
second 'vic' witness tells ..............Version KM.1A, KM.2A, KM.3A, KM.4A, & KM.5A
(not saying this ^ is exactly what happened, just the gen idea)

and then both tell version 6, is that fessing up? Or just another version?

Did you guys just listen to the news again at 11? The reporter clarified that DA received texts after TM was shot. I do think he says Jonas.

  • #165
Then it's very simple, really. EN would have to call/text him before and after the murder. Did he?

I don't know what he did and I don't know what evidence there is of what he did. Nobody here can say what the evidence contains because nobody has seen it nor can they attain the evidence until it is released publicly. What the evidence is will come out sooner or later, so I'll wait until it comes out until I speak definitely on what it contains.

In the meantime, we speculate based on what information we have.

That doesn't necessarily tell us how much after the shooting texts were sent, if said texts exists. For instance we know the next day EN was home after being at KK's. The next evening Andrews could have gone there.

Since DA claims at some point he found out about the murder (he saw in the media what happened) and asked EN to delete him from his contacts, they would have to have been communicating after the murder. So, when exactly did DA find out about the murder, since he claims EN didn't tell him anything when he picked EN up by the school. And if he saw something on the media about TM's murder, how did he figure out EN was the one responsible, if he simply picked him up by the school and dropped him off?

I'm looking forward to the grand jury transcript on DA. The arrest warrant would be nice too.

It sounded to me like he didn't find out about the murder until it was in the news. It took a day or two for KK and ZA to verify the murder in the news. Hopefully these news videos make it to youtube so we can see them again and again. I'd like the longest one that aired at 6pm.

You guys have fun. I'm going to bed. It's 2:30 AM here.

Do we know if the police have ever linked Andrews to the Audi? I'm thinking it would have to belong to someone in his home or him. I can't imagine him (Andrews), that late at night, scouting around to borrow a car from someone just so he could go give a friend a ride.

The news didn't list EN as a suspect until EN was in a stand off with police. So how did DA figure out EN was responsible for the murder? He claims EN didn't tell him anything.

From what his neighbors say, DA often works on cars in his driveway. Sounds like he has access to multiple cars.

I guess it depends on WHEN he figured out EN was the shooter. There was a time gap between the two arrests. If we heard about who the shooter was, I am sure those in the area would have heard too. So he could have found out the same day we did, I would think. Has there been anything in the news indicating that he even did know it before it was announced on the news?

Well, we found out during EN's stand off with the police.
I think it would be in bad taste for DA to ask EN to remove DA's contact information during EN's standoff with a police.
Cause I am pretty sure after the stand off, police confiscated EN's cell phone. So he couldn't have asked EN afterwards.

Good point. I wonder then (IF he wasn't with him) if Erich texted him about it in the days before he, Erich, was arrested? From what I've read, the police can view the deleted texts. He also could've told him on a phone call. Perhaps word got out amongst their circle of friends. It seems from what I read, the Meyers family knew early on, though it is extremely unclear to me what they knew and when they knew it because I had a very hard time following the husband's stories as they changed.
I sure wish we knew all the information! Are there any Verified Insiders on this case here? I skipped over several threads so I could get caught up to date, but I don't remember seeing any.

DA claims he found out from the media. And that's when he told EN to delete him. That doesn't really add up to me. For an alibi story, her sure was pretty vague about all the details. What time does he claim he actually went to pick EN up? Where exactly did he pick EN up and where did he drop him off? What car did he use? He is claiming he wasn't the driver during the murder, so presumably it would be something else and not the silver sedan. Yet he doesn't say. If I were trying to prove my "innocence" and I was actually innocent, I would certainly not skip over these details.

LOL, good point jenny. If DA found out when the rest of us found out, when did EN tell him to delete his info?

"I can clearly tell you why I told him to erase the contacts,” he says. “Shortly after what I saw on the media what happened and I didn't want to have anything to do with him. I told him delete me."

I can't understand why DA talked to the media. I can't get over the idiocy of his doing it. He had counsel from one of the best attorneys in Vegas over a period of a couple of weeks prior to his arrest, and he's not high as a kite like EN was when he was arrested. I guess sitting in solitary confinement made him crazy. Since he claims he wasn't involved, he can't even turn states evidence and cut a deal.

Maybe he saw how effective it was that RM got out in front of the story and talked to the media right away to proclaim his family as victims and paint them with a broad brush of innocence. They seem pretty immune to prosecution for anything, despite their lies to police and their deliberate efforts to hinder the investigation.

Maybe DA thinks that if he gets his story out there and has everyone believing that he's an innocent victim of LE being determined to arrest someone, anyone, as EN's accomplice, he'll have enough public support that they couldn't possibly charge him and try him.
