Yes, they really do.
I can't imagine being them. While I know they are so overjoyed and relieved these little girls are out of harms way...I do think these cases are ones that never leave their head. I couldn't imagine working this case night and day and having to let my kids out of my sight.

They sure do seem determined to get them for every single thing they can. They are doing a great job.

My hunch (JMO only) is that this couple met online, perhaps on a message board for people who have an interest in certain sexual fantasies. They were interested in each other online and then met in person, and they were perhaps active in real life pursuing their fantasies together.

All speculation on my part. I don't want to sleuth those online communities so I'm just going on a hunch. They seem like an odd pair to begin with and they almost instantly split up during the interview process with her blaming him as the initiator of the crime. I think their relationship was based on their mutual (creepy) interests and not much more, imo.

Reminds me of Noelle Paquette (Sarnia, ON), abducted and murdered by a sicko couple.

Creepy. My friends ex wife owns Bows and Bandanas where the female perp. is a groomer.

Can't help wonder why a gal with a college degree in psychiatry (and an honor's student) is working at Bows & Bandanas rather than in her field. I know it's a small town, and maybe not a lot of job options, but there's usually lots of work available in the social work field -- although, glad she's NOT a social worker! God knows there's already enough nut jobs in that profession -- including my son's social worker at school -- although there's also lots of compassionate, wonderful people as well.

Did you guys notice on SH's FB page, he refers to his home as "Steve's Place" -- it's got it's own FB page -- like it's a business. :thinking:

The Sheriff said there had been no priors that they were aware of (and I'm pretty sure they've checked). Which is great news. These gals stopped what could have only gotten worse over time.

She has a degree in Psychology. Psychiatry is a doctoral degree, and much more schooling is required. Lots of people get degrees in Psychology and can go on to become a licensed counselor (LLC) or 'talk' therapist if they take the required coursework/exam. Or go on to do other work.

He served in Airforce from 1995 - 2001 I think. Some of those places he lived may be military bases. I believe his family (father and brother) are in Idaho.

BTW, Intellus doesn't always get it right. They have me living in one state where I never lived (although my 2 adult children both live there now), and in a city in Florida where I never lived (although my niece went to school there).

Ok just got here today and read back a few pages. I'm sickened to think they were sexually assaulted.

I'm the one that suggested possible filming and I still stand by that. I think LE probably found a ring/group of several people including the perps from evidence on the electronics or the perps themselves have spilled the beans on others.

There was a reason this guy chose this woman as his cohort who shared the same evil interests...

JMO, but the fact that these two girls were dropped off by them, they've been said to be cooperating, and the fact that this couple had no priors, it makes me wonder if this was possibly a first major offense (though they may have been building up to it with internet ). I also sense that it may have been a drug-induced crime (both have access to these in their now former professions)--maybe if they were on a high they were somewhat aghast at what had transpired...at least one can hope.

One of the suspect's sisters also works at the grooming place. There are a lot of relatives, and while there may be one or two who are less than wholesome themselves, I feel bad for the many relatives who would have had no idea this was coming.

I especially struggle to understand what kind of woman could do something like this. She must have been abused as a kid...jmo
