I agree! Local resident Victor posted last week that there was an "extensive network of cameras" around the park and I assumed that LE had footage that influenced their search. We really have NO clues!

Hoboken used to have an array of non-functioning cameras around town. This was discovered when a guy went missing (he ended up in the water) and during the investigation the town was unable to produce the video footage from the night he went missing. I question if that’s the case here too.

It's possible that she waited until after dark.

I also believe it's possible she's still in the park, though I give credence to the searches there given that the leaves have fallen and it's a very populous area.

I live in NYC and cross that bridge often. Since 9/11 that bridge is closely watched, it has cameras etc. People can see the jumpers from boats and apartment buildings in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. Most of the jumpers stop their cars on the busy bridge and jump. Here is a list of the recent jumpers and attempts. Queen of the Click~Taking Over the World from Brooklyn, NY

Here is a video of the bridge Monday during a storm, to show the layout of the upper level bridge, not so easy just to go and walk on it. In this case the traffic was stopped due to the wind and the swaying of the bridge, it has 3 lanes in each direct on both levels. More possible to stop the car and jump because it can happen so fast as opposed to walking onto that bridge to jump. There are police and cameras all over the place.

I am very impressed with how totally shut down this case is from all angles. No LE updates, absolutely no comments from family, no pleas to spread the word etc. absolutely no comments from extended family or friends. All SM accounts taken down. It is two weeks now and we know next to nothing more about her disappearance as facts. Amazing. MOO MOO MOO

I'm a licensed pharmacist who realized in 2012 that the profession I practiced and loved for 18 years was no longer the one I had trained for. I'm still licensed (although I'm thinking about not renewing in 2022) but in the ensuing years, I have had an online resale business out of my home.

I've had a cancer diagnosis in the meantime, and healing emotionally from that was less traumatic than this was, so I do understand a bit.

Just 2 weeks ago one if the doctors at my hospital died by suicide and jumped off the top of the parking garage. I work in inpatient psych so my mind automatically goes to decompensating mental health. There are many bridges to jump from not just by SI. Also, it doesn't have to be a bridge of course. But just the amount of doctors and healthcare professionals that have died by suicide this year is unnerving. Just my own opinion of course. I hope it's not what I think it is.

@NicMed329 How absolutely tragic. I imagine that with the pandemic it's impossible to give patients and their families the care they want to give, because there are too many patients. I heard some doctors are working very long periods with no days off. It's wrong, it's inhumane what's being expected of healthcare workers in some areas.
