Hundreds of sealed court filings pertaining to the late sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein are set to be made public this week, and several prominent names -- including Britain's Prince Andrew and former President Bill Clinton -- are expected to appear in the documents.


U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska ruled earlier this month there was no legal justification for continuing to conceal the ex-president's name and more than 150 names other "John and Jane Does" mentioned in the records. Preska ordered the unsealing to begin after Jan. 1.

This batch will involve the names of additional Epstein associates, alleged perpetrators, alleged co-conspirators, alleged victims, witnesses and former Epstein employees. Several of the "Does" mentioned in the documents are now deceased.

There's more recent reporting that shows that this list is going to be another dud. But it's largely being ignored today so the internet can keep the hype train rolling.

Let's be honest. IMO Bill Clinton is the name that list peddlers are most excited about being 'exposed'. And as salacious as the NYPost headline is below...the News Corp tabloid can't even find anything that points to any illegal activity.

Flight records appear to support the former president’s claims.

I can literally hear the groveling from the reporter as he had to type out that line.

So it seems ABC has seen the documents and the NYPost has corroborated ABCs reporting. And THIS...is the biggest story to come out of it so far. This is not going to be the watershed moment that the internet seems to think it's going to be.

Just because you hung out with a nightmare socially a couple of times - someone who was probably purposefully targeting the rich, powerful and famous - that doesn't necessarily mean you did anything wrong or illegal.

I'd suggest there is not going to be anything incriminating in the documents

It's just going to be guilt-by-association and demonstrating-terrible-judgement-of-character reputational-damage to some more people.

It will essentially be cancelling.

Totally agree with this. When you are as wealthy as Epstein was, you are granted interest from elite social circles. I don’t believe just because XYZ was mingling on his private plane means they were privy to or participating in the depravity.

Totally agree with this. When you are as wealthy as Epstein was, you are granted interest from elite social circles. I don’t believe just because XYZ was mingling on his private plane means they were privy to or participating in the depravity.

I believe they all either knew, participated, or just looked the other way. From all I've read and watched over the years, the impression is that pretty much everyone knew what Epstein was like, and what he was into.

I was talking with @MarkieMartin on @newsnation this morning about the unsealing of the #EpsteinFiles and, while I was on air, the SDNY announced the files will not be unsealed until Jan 22, earliest.

The extension until Jan 22 appears to be, because Jane Doe 107 (an alleged victim) has a new lawyer who has asked for more time to appeal the unsealing of her name on the grounds that it would be unsafe in her country of residence. She has received hate mail. She will give an affidavit in camera on Jan 22.

The documents won’t be made public until at least Jan. 22, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York confirmed to NewsNation.

The delay comes after a judge granted a 30-day extension to a Jane Doe to consider her appeal to remain confidential.

The first of 150-plus names connected to the Jeffrey Epstein case are expected be unsealed on Wednesday, a federal court official told The Messenger.

“The unsealing is expected to begin today,” Ed Friedland, the District Executive for the Southern District of New York, said.
The documents were ordered unsealed by Judge Loretta Preska in a civil case brought against Ghislaine Maxwell by longtime accuser Virginia Giuffre.
