When is GM's story going to move along a bit? - nothing seems to be happening?

  • #363
Yeah. She's been issued that laptop for her sole use for 14 or so hours a day. And she also has a computer at her disposal. IMO it's sickening the privileges she's been given.

I trust the prosecutor's office will come back with a fact-based report (in the same vein as the recent one) on what it is about the FBI laptop that has "technical issues". It's probably something like "I can't change the desktop photo" or "The FBI is recording the number of my clicks" or "The popup reminding me this is an FBI computer is interfering with my reading because I have to click on it and Agree every half hour" or "I'm not allowed to examine online 🤬🤬🤬🤬 photos and compare them to the 2100 photos of me with underage girls that the prosecutor belatedly turned over to my defense counsel".

And she still has been able to escape a mugshot. Why does she have that preferential treatment?

See ^^^^ for timely revelations
-New charges were recently filed
-The Government reported that GM hasn't been flushing her toilet
-Trial scheduled for July-ish
-GM wants the charges dropped, and for the 50th time gets a NO
-The judge says Gov can file a separate case re perjury
-GM's attorneys complained to a tabloid that it's so unfair for attention to be brought on the fact that GM doesn't flush her toilet, and this means she can't get a fair trial
-per Gov GM talks to her lawyers (aka nannies) for 5 hours a day

Ergo...
There's a steady drip of court news and tabloid fodder. Stay tuned.

Note that the other female sociopath-high-flyer-exploiter-virulent-celebrity-wannabe-gazillion-dollar-scammer (Elizabeth Holmes--Theranos) has a trial scheduled this year, too. That one is cooking on the back burner owing to the age-old trick of getting "pregnant while under indictment", but cooking nonetheless. If both trials happen at the same time, oooooh gosh.

I love "for the 50th time gets a NO!" With all this complaining, she may be getting quite flustered. Maybe even flushed :D:D:D

You'd think the lawyer wouldn't want to parade GM's poopadilloes in a gossip magazine. Maybe he shoulda left them with footnote status and not get them turned into a headline? And then he piles on with GM's prudery about going potty where everyone can peek? Where was the prudery during her "socialite" years?
Who would feel sorry for GM?

A prude is she??!!

I think the prosecution can easily overcome that claim given the sworn depositions detailing the Butler having to go in afterwards and gather up and clean her sex toys that were strewn about. Very prudish indeed.

More like a manipulative, sociopathic beotch.

US prosecutors filed a superseding indictment with additional sex-trafficking charges against Ghislaine Maxwell on Monday and included a fourth accuser who was a minor at the time cited in the allegations.

The original indictment served against Maxwell in June included the testimonies of three accusers. The latest accuser in the case notably expands the scope of involvement Maxwell is accused of having with the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Aha. Thank you.

Maybe we'll hear how GM has to wear orange and "it's not her color". Or how the drip drip drip of newly public revelations amounts to waterboarding. Or her morning toast is soggy and she likes her eggs poached with anchovies on the side, no butter, thank you, and definitely not the gelatinous scrambled the other, "great unwashed" (for our purposes, read "regular people"), inmates, gulp down. "Really, they can't be THAT hungry, and I won't stoop to the term 'inmate', it's just not me".

Demolition begins on Jeffrey Epstein’s former Florida mansion

Developer Todd Michael Glaser oversaw the crews that began tearing down the infamous Palm Beach mansion, the Palm Beach Post reported. He previously said it would be personally satisfying to knock down and build a new one. Glaser bought the waterfront home last month for $18.5 million.

I hope they checked and double checked all the nooks, crannies, and secret storage areas. I suspect JE kept stashes of incriminating evidence hidden in more than one place, and if that is the case, I hope they found everything before knocking this mansion down.

"...If requested, publication bans must be ordered for all victims under the age of 18, for victims of sexual offences, and for witnesses of sexual offences under the age of 18..."
Trial - Canadian Victims Bill of Rights

Does the above ruling apply for court proceedings in the US?

Do we know if the women accusing Maxwell will be called to testify? As most are "anonymous" at the moment, do we assume they will not be required to take the stand?

From the following quote, I fear if called to testify, they, and their testimonies, will be shredded during cross-examination.

"At first, none of the anonymous accusers even mentioned Ms. Maxwell. As they hired the same law firm, sought money and fame, joined a movement, and only after Epstein died, did the accusers start to point the finger at Ms. Maxwell. Far from corroboration, this is fabrication," they wrote.

Yeah, the victims only felt safe to speak up after GM was in jail and seemed unlikely to get out....

Much clutching at straws.
It could well be a decision is made that a fair trial is not possible, unless it is moved to Outer Mongolia, perhaps.

"...It was on this legal basis that Ghislaine Maxwell decided to bring her case before the tribunal judiciaire de Paris and therefore delivered a writ to Albin Michel publishers on 15 April 2021. A hearing is scheduled on 19 May 2021..."

A photo of GM appears in the indictment, however, no mug shot was released in order to avoid potentially influencing an impartial jury. The Department of Justice prevents a jury from seeing any material that could affect their idea of a defendant’s innocence or guilt. A photo is considered prejudicial material and is therefore governed by specific rules.

The DOJ doesn’t allow for the release of mugshots unless there is a legitimate purpose to do so for law enforcement. For example, if she escaped and went on the run, then her mugshot would likely be released for all to see.

Police are also permitted to release images when seeking witnesses who may only know a suspect by their face, not their name.

GM’s April 23 court date has been delayed by a week. A document filed by her lawyers states that this is to enable her 'family members to adjust their schedules and make travel arrangements to attend the court proceedings'. Her family are planning to be at her arraignment meaning that she could see her husband in person from across the courtroom.

Little has been seen of her husband since her arrest and he has stepped down from his tech company CargoMetrics to avoid being a 'distraction'. It is unclear if he has visited her in the grim MDC where she is being held.

Ghislaine's family are planning to be at her arraignment later this month will her husband be there | Daily Mail Online
